I’ve been wanting to try this place out for years. Moved to fairfax 2 yrs who and had finally tried their desserts! Ohhh em gee!! Their cakes are delicious!! If you are a chocolate lover please try their chunky chocolate!!! I highly recommend this place. They give you a big slice of cake for $6.95 I think, unlike their neighbor next door Magnolia. I pay the same price for a small cake and dry. I haven’t eaten there yet, but will be trying out their food soon! The customer service are great too! I’ll be coming back soon!!!

It's good but it is really over hyped. The selection is limited unless you order ahead. Not great for a random trip but amazing for order aheads

Went for breakfast and they were severely under staffed and slow. Needs repairs to the building as well.

We were were excited to see the bakery but two things made us sad. 1) the items were limited and typical items seen in the majority of bakeries; 2) the baker/owner/person on duty was the man wearing an apron who was sitting in front on the shop talking with two other people. We only figure this out becuase there was no one in the little bakery and we saw him with the apron. This, when we walked in, we weren't acknowledged (even though sign said open), when we were looking around he didn't come in to check on us, and when we left we weren't acknowledged. He was just sitting and talking with a man and women at the little table in front of the bakery.

Really good experience with Amphora. Still have to check the cake but excellent service. Tasted their cannoli and it was a treat and also the napoleon which was an unexpected bite of joy.

Amphora Bakery provided a gorgeous, classic cake for a wedding that our studio photographed a few weeks ago! Everyone praised the cake - from the beautiful decorating job, to the delicious taste of the cake inside. They provided a different flavor for each tier and all three looked great!
