I'm disappointed that I chose this place for lunch. I came here as I was close by and had a good review. "A" as in one great review, I should have been thrown off by seeing only one review but gave them the benefit of doubt. I ordered the Caesar chicken wrap and it was the tiniest wrap I have ever seen in my life. I didn't question them cause I thought maybe it will taste really good. Again, gave that benefit, ate it and was severely disappointed that the chicken was very dry and didn't have enough dressing. I'm giving them three stars because the people there were really nice.

Oh yeah, I'm impressed with this place. This darling little café is located in the ground floor of the 8330 Boone boulevard office building, which happens to be the office I'm working at for the week. Just to tell you guys a little of the back story, I had gotten up at ten till 4 on Monday morning to travel for work in the Tysons Corner area for the week. I arrived at my destination and promptly got right down to business. I look up and it's fifteen till 2 and I wasn't feeling so well, so I went down to Café American hoping for some soup or hot broth dish to sip on. In the back corner next to the hot bar they have a soup hot pot. Now, I'm sure the soup changes seasonally, but on this occasion it was chicken noodle, and when I lifted the lid to inspect, the soup smelled amazing! I could see lots and lots of chunks of chicken and noodles and carrots and celery as I stirred up the contents of the pot. I was instantly sold! After scooping up a big bowl of mostly chicken, noodles and veggies, I filled the container the rest of the way full with broth. I go to pay and I'm yet again pleasantly surprised. This big a** bowl of soup was only $1.90! holy cow Bat Man, that's a steal! I get back to my desk and start to eat. The broth in the soup was so warm and tasty. I immediately felt better after finishing the dish. While I was in the café I looked around. There is both a hot and cold bar offering. The hot bar looked like it had several oriental dishes while the cold bar had salad and sushi offerings. YES! you read that right. Sushi on the cold bar! They also have a sandwich menu board where they offer both hot and cold sandwiches of your choice along with a daily special. There is plenty of seating if you want to sit and eat or obviously they offer to go items as well. All in all, this is a really nice café and I highly recommend it if you DON'T want to fight the traffic to go anywhere else. I'll certainly be back to try more items since the price was low and quality is high.

This place is nice to eat of fresh salad bar, buffet style hot food and sandwiches with boar's head flavour. I like to be here almost every lunch time to feel their kindness and freshness.
