Cafe Renaissance is one of our favorite hidden gems in Vienna, and they have helped us celebrate many anniversaries, Valentine Day's, work events, pregnancies, and other special moments over the past 14 years! They are always so gracious, thoughtful, and welcoming, and their food is delicious! We can't wait to go back soon!

Cafe Renaissance has been our important event restaurant for the past 15 years. It has never failed to give us a very rewarding experience from its excellent food and the classy ambiance. Highly recommended!

We have been going to this restaurant to enjoy and celebrate many special occasions. We were incredibly disappointed by our experience on Christmas Day. Having been seated in an area which was difficult for our daughter who is an amputee with one leg to maneuver, we asked if we might be able to move to another table. They obliged, saying that they had another reservation for our new table at a certain time. We thanked them and were more than happy to release the table for them to turn it over in time for their new guests. Once seated, the owner rudely commented that we just wanted to be an area.. to be seen. We brushed that off as perhaps trying to be humorous but 30-40 minutes before we needed to depart, the owner very loudly embarrassed us for still being there and finishing our glass of wine. It was bad enough that our server and one from another table came by to apologize for the very rude comments. Our server that evening and the other servers we have had in the past have always been outstanding and the food always delicious. It was always a special place for us but sadly, we most likely won't return.

This was a wonderful holiday tea with friends! Tea is only offered the last weekend of each month . The decor is very pretty with oil painting and different place settings of China . The service is friendly . The tea food was delicious and large servings that we could take home . We had a choice of two different teas both good . We started off with cocktails . This was a wonderful experience and very affordable tea . I would highly recommend.

Just dined there tonight with four old friends. My wife used to visit there many years ago and little had changed. What a delight !! Good French food , good service in a great traditional restaurant. Owner engaged with us and was most welcoming . If you like noise, interiors with hard surfaces , foams and fancy overpriced cocktails then this is not for you . If you like more traditional restaurants , fresh tablecloths and flowers etc. then this is for you - and you won't find many establishments like Cafe Renaissance offering such a special evening out . It was not cheap but it was fantastic value.

Great service and food. Tables are very close to each other and noise level was far too load (consequence of close table). We will go back, but would want to have a table in a far corner, not the middle of the restaurant.

This is a restaurant we have many memories with and we just started going back here after a 4 year gap. So many new places opened and we were trying out all. Last nights dinner was fantastic with rockfish with veggies and a salmon wellington. I personally do not like baclava as most are so sweet you can have one bite, however, the Chef made an incredible one and I was lucky to go home with a few extra pieces. Always welcomed like family here, even if you haven't been in years. Try them and enjoy all the food, fresh flowers in gorgeous containers and beautiful fine china decorating the tables. It's a lovely venue. You won't be disappointed. oh and those wine pours are generous!
