The lamb chops were extremely flavorful and the baklava is perfectly crisp and sweet. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Persian/Mediterranean food. Thank you for an enjoyable meal and experience.

The food doesn’t have good taste, the place was very very dirty and while we were eating our food the cleaner bring all garbage from different areas of the restaurant and put it totally in front of us . Don’t recommend at all and yeah price was also a little bit higher for the food.

Friends kabob is one of the best Persian restaurants in the DC area. Phenomenal service with excellent hookah both of my favorite dish’s chicken wings & lamb shank are always perfect. They always have a friendly atmosphere.

Critic of myself
1st experience: 1st experience was decent. Decent food. But restaurant was dirty. Bathroom was very dirty. An employee was sitting in the middle of the restaurant and coughing really badly. This was close to winter of 2021 when COVID concerns were still strong.2nd experience: First week of September 2023. The cashier behind the counter was on his phone and clearly bothered by our presence. He was extremely bothered by a couple of questions we asked. At one point, when asked to combine two menu items into one, his response was, "what should I do". In addition, the food quality was extremely poor, it made us sick.All in all will not return and do not recommend this place.

Very tasty and high quality food. Very friendly staff. Parking lot is totally full, plenty of places to eat inside. I think the parking lot is used by overnight parkers.
Good food quality, but they definitely need to do A LOT OF work on the tidiness and cleanliness of their establishment...If a restaurant is that dirty, then imagine what's happening behind the scenes...

Ok, I just did an Uber Eats order and folks I have to say if you don't get the friends Royal, you are missing out.The kabob were absolutely fresh, perfectly cooked and very well marinated.I paid 12$ for the delivery because there are no good kabob places near me so that should give you a hint.Absolutely delicious, good portions and they really really worth the price.Give it a shot guys, highly highly recommend

Never dissatisfied with their service and food. Anytime I want kabobs it is my go to for an authentic experience. Also an amazing place to take friends to have great food and hookah, you get a nice vibe and feeling when you're there.
