Sunday toast was already sold out, I'll try again another week, getting the beer battered cod fish bites, steak and ale pie, and soaking in the atmosphere. The fish bites and the tartar sauce were spot on. Steak snd Ale pie was alright, they both burned the edge of the crust and still had a cold spot in the middle. The skin on chips were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, not a soggy one in the bunch, also nothing was too hard or too crunchy. Not a patch on the chips I had in Soho. I'm definitely coming back for the roast and the rest of the menu.

This is a good English pub with a large selection of gin. The food menu wasn’t extensive but the food itself was good. The burger I got was very good with hand cut fries. I would recommend this place if you like the pub atmosphere.

Parking: Parking can fill up quickly, when it’s Wednesday Quiz Night or there is a weekend football match on.

Highly recommend. Seated 9 of our family immediately in a room inside the door. Manager started fireplace to help heat the area added nicely to the atmosphere. Nice verity of meal options everything selected was delicious. Great attentive service staff.
