We had lunch here with our family and small kids. Everyone was so friendly and caring and the food was great and amazing service. Highly recommend.
We were in NY for a week. So thankful we happened upon this diner! We had brunch there 2 days, and drinks before a play. The food was amazing, as were the drinks, but the best part was the staff!! I loved the vinaigrette on the brunch greens that accompanied my omelet. Would LOVE to know the brand or the recipe! Eat here! You'll be happy you did!

Based on reviews, Carnegie Diner & Cafe is a restaurant with beautiful inside decor and great lighting. The food quality varies; some dishes are amazing, like the Truffle Fries, caramel waffles, and the Protein sunshine omelet, which is a big breakfast with shareable options. However, the Calamari was a little cold, and the corned beef sandwich photos are deceiving, as the meat is not mounds. The triple decker turkey sandwich meat wasn't hot, and the spaghetti Bolognese could have had more flavor. The waffle ice cream sandwich milkshake is big enough to be a meal. The food came out fast and hot for one guest, and the plate looked just like the pictures online. Service is noted as quick and professional, with friendly and patient waiters. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, with good drink offerings including coffees, teas, shakes, beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, and a $5 mimosa. There is a full plant-based menu page and easy parking. The restaurant is recommended for great food and quality.
