The dishes are even cleaner tasting and less salty than before, and we love the new chicken wonton soup. The chefs have creatively used spices and ground halal meat to recreate pork dishes. Great for those who eat halal but also for those who don't want to feel bloated after a Chinese meal. We loved the chicken broccoli and moo shoo and will be ordering again for this healthier take on American Chinese food.

Surprisingly good garlic eggplant. Lots of oil but a good flavor. And not insanely salty. For the first time in the history of ever, I ADDED salt to American Chinese food. The rice was also quite good. Ill be back.

I understand the need for halal. Itās a dietary restriction that some people abide by, and by all means if you want Chinese food and it needs to be halal, then eat here. If you donāt have any restrictions, avoid this place.
We ordered the egg rolls and sweet & sour chicken. The egg roll just tasted like oil. Biting into it just filled my mouth with oil and I forgot that I was eating an egg roll. The sweet & sour chicken was bland and so was the fried rice. The fried rice didnāt have any trace of egg or vegetables. Are those not halal? Iām not sure but they werenāt there. The sauce wasnāt as sweet as Iām used to which is the main attraction in ordering the sweet & sour chicken at any place. To me, I was just missing out on a lot of flavor and now Iām left with this headache from all the oil.

Lovely family-owned restaurant here in Tysons. My family and I have ordered takeout from here for years, and the food is always fresh and delicious, ready within 10-15 minutes for pickup.
Our go-toās right now are the Singapore Rice Noodle, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (comes with rice), and Hunan Chicken. Weāve also tried the Lo Mein, General Tsoās, and Sesame Chicken, which all taste great. Canāt wait to try more of their menu options

Literally the best chinese food. Pricing is reasonable, customer service is great, taste is fresh every time, and itās always piping hot! They also keep it simple and donāt try to do too much with the basic recipes we all know and love.

Halal Hunan Cafe in Tysons is a fantastic spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and healthy, made with high-quality ingredients, and the service was kind and welcoming.
I ordered the garlic eggplant, mixed chow mein, and sweet and sour pork, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea was also a great additionārefreshing and just the right amount of sweet.
I took my friend with me, and she loved it tooāwe both left full and happy. Itās a great place to bring someone if you want a relaxed meal with great flavors.
The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portion size and quality. Iāll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty halal Chinese food in the Tysons area!

Visited from out of state yesterday and the food was average. No taste, no spice, no seasoning. It was very bland. Waste of $48

Ordered sweet & sour chicken for lunch today. While the initial meal seemed fine, what followed was extremely concerning. Within hours of eating, I experienced significant digestive issues that completely derailed my day.
The restaurant appeared clean and staff was friendly, but something went seriously wrong with the food preparation. When you're paying good money for a meal, you expect basic food safety standards to be met.
To management: Please review your food handling procedures, particularly with chicken dishes. Food poisoning is no joke and could seriously damage both your customers' health and your business reputation.
Cannot recommend this establishment until these issues are addressed. Save yourself the trouble and eat elsewhere.
