Cozy place and friendly service. My order of Beef Bourguignon was wonderful but my wife confused the Navarin of Lamb to braised lamb we're used from Turkish and Lebanese Restaurants but this is seared Lamb. The Waiter was nice enough to let us switch the order.

Ordered a cocktail from their menu, a side car, the bartender poured me Gentleman Jack and sour mix with a cherry garnish. Menu said cognac, Grand Mainer, Cointreau, citrus. Not sure what the disconnect was, as I was charged for a side car and not a whiskey sour….
Le Bistro is one of those neighborhood gems that captures the romance of a French café without trying too hard. The ambiance is warm and softly lit — perfect for a cozy, conversational dinner with like-minded friends on a Friday evening.
The décor is beautiful, blending classic French charm with a touch of modern sophistication. The menu offers a lovely balance of traditional favorites — think steak frites, mussels, and perfectly toasted baguettes — without being pretentious.
Service is attentive and friendly, though evenings can get busy, so a reservation is a good idea. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, and their desserts (especially the crème brûlée) are worth saving room for.
It’s the kind of spot you can slip into after a long week, unwind, and enjoy genuine conversation in an elegant yet relaxed setting. Prices are fair for the quality and experience.

The majority of our reviews are centered around French Onion Soup. We looked forward to this place and finally got to try it. The soup was a solid 8/10. Not too cheesy and plenty of onions. I usually look for more flavor but it missed a little on that.
The Steak Frites was ordered medium rare but came out super rare, almost raw as you can see.
Our waiter was very inattentive and it took what I assume was the manager to come over to ask how the food was. We discussed the steak and he offered many ways to make it up but we were already finished with everything else and it just wasn’t worth it.
Dropping in for some soup might be a good idea if you have a knack for French Onion but we won’t be back.

Le Bistro is a true gem! Properly made real comfort French Cuisine which is hard to find these days. Well chosen wine list that goes well with the cuisine. Service is very personable comfortable yet professional. Wish I tried this place earlier! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

Excellent food and cocktails at Le Bistro! Dining room was cozy, yet fun. Service was warm and professional. The food was outstanding and the portions generous (a rarity these days). It was our first time dining there….we’ll be back soon. Highly recommend!

Overall, it was an ok place to eat. There was a moment where they had forgotten my drink over 3 times. The onion soup had made my stomach not feel good for the rest of the day, but the rest of the food was great, and the service was good too. It’s a decent place, but not the best.

Celebrated a birthday at Le Bistro. Food and service were spot on, as usual! Great wine recommendation that went with everyone’s entrée! Delicious, modern take on French cuisine.

Le Bistro is a great time. Great value, great staff, and a great environment. When we came in, the prefix menu was active which is really awesome because we were able to get the entrees we all wanted, and pay just a little more for soup and a creme brulee!
The staff was super attentive and friendly.
Overall, if you're a local or passing through, Le Bistro is a lovely, intimate environment with excellent flavors to explore.

We went with friends at 7:30 and there were four of us. I enjoyed the escargot and my friends liked the Pâté and onion soup. Pâté was a large portion so he took the extra home (fyi: he never does this!). I tasted the pate and it was delicious (great bread). We had two servings of mussels which were tender and fresh. We had two servings of Beef Bourguignon, which I enjoyed. My friend felt the Beef Bourguignon was too salty, but that's what I liked about it. C'est la vie! We will definitely return. It's a small place, and our waiter was attentive, making our experience very enjoyable.
Parking: We parked on Church Street near the Freeman Store which is an easy three minute walk.

Onion soup was tasteless and still contained pieces of bayleaf which we could have choked on. Morrel sauce was over reduced and starchy. Beef burgundy could have come from a can as the sauce was thin and greasy. Potatoes puree tasted and had the texture of grits. One of our party had issues after the meal.

The Good - Pate and Onion Soup were very good. Wine selection is nice too.
The Bad - Main courses - Steak Frites, Pork Chop and Duck Confit were mediocre at best. The Duck was especially dry and tasteless. Chocolate tarte for dessert was way too cold and tasteless as well. Crust was dry and hard.
The Ugly - Reservation was for 6:45p but we did not get seated until 7:30p. Host said "people arrived late and ordered late so sorry. Please have a drink at the bar until your table is ready." 45 minutes wait and they didn't comp us anything. Not free drinks, not even dessert. Oh and by the way they charge you extra to use a credit card. Seems like if you are in for fine dining at high prices, Roberto Donna should eat the credit card fees. Highly disappointing all around especially the customer service. Skip Le Bistro go to Evelyn Rose next door instead.
