The food is mediocre, some foods are unfresh and smelly (esp fish) that I threw out the whole dish. It’s pricey for the amount of food you get. The people are also rude and will try to make you feel like you are the problem for having any problem with their product and service, not theirs.

A colleague at work recommended Sobann to me since she knows I’m obsessed with LA Galbi. I was a bit unsure after reading some mixed reviews here, but I’m so glad I took her advice! Seriously, the LA Galbi from Sobann is incredible—way better than the thin, bland stuff you get from the international market. The meat is thick and the seasoning is perfectly balanced, just like how my grandma used to make it back in Korea. I decided to try their meal kits, and they’re just as awesome as the LA Galbi. If you’re on the fence about Sobann, trust me, you won’t regret it!

Food was good. But the overall experience was extremely unpleasant. The coordinator is unprofessional, condescending, and not very detail oriented. If you’re planning on using Sobann for catering, make sure you take good notes and ask about everything because they miss a lot based on our experience. Food and presentation was fine but they need to significantly improve their client handling and communication.

Not sure what last minute changes you are referring to. The one change we requested was a slight event time adjustment that was notified days in advance. The fact that you keep mentioning that you adhered to the contract coupled with the unsatisfactory client service leaves a lot to be desired. In any case, I appreciate the response and your receptiveness to our feedback.

Ordered the weekly meal kit here for the first time last week and I'm pretty shocked at how bad it tastes...everything is very lightly seasoned which maybe is good for people trying to minimize salt intake but in terms of taste it's very lacking. Yesterday, we tried the galbi jjim and the meat was extremely tough and there was a smell as if the meat was old or not properly cleaned. We ended up throwing the entire dish away because it was so tough we couldn't eat it. I'm really disappointed because I wanted to like it but honestly it ended up being a total waste of money and I won't be ordering here again.

I luv Sobann Mandoo(Dumpling) sooooooooo much!!!! This is the true authentic Korean mandoo. In these days, if you go to Market or other restaurants, it's really hard to find the home cooking style mandoos anymore. Too salty too spicy too sweet, too much all of'em. But, I don't know how they make, the Sobann's Mandoo always make me at home. Definitely it has the touch of the tradition coming from Korean Mothers. Thanks you Sobann!
