It’s been a few years since I last dined here, and the food and service are still just as wonderful as I remember. The General Tso’s special meal was delicious, with generous portions, and the spinach wontons in red sauce were flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Our waiter, Douglas, was incredibly welcoming and took the time to explain the entrees. A true hidden gem in Vienna!

What a joy to rediscover Sunflower Vegetarian Restaurant in Vienna, Virginia, en route from Washington, DC to Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Sunflower continues to create some of the most exquisitely designed vegetarian and vegan Asian cuisine—bringing together Japanese and Chinese traditions with remarkably creative plant-based ingredients.

Their tempura sushi was amazing—the best I’ve had in a while. Additionally, the service was excellent, and Ivana provided outstanding service throughout my visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable.
