I wish I lived closer to this, we visited the Wooden bakery on the way home from vacation and we loved the manakish here so so much. The meat manoushe took me back to Lebanon when i was little and the cheese and zaatar varieties were also so nostalgic and the dough was perfect. Please support and love this place. This was such a hidden gem in my opinion. The homemade toum and shanklish were really yummy and they had Unica and Flake!!
This is hands-down my favorite Middle Eastern pastry shop! My top picks are the Za'atar, Hof Knefe, cheese blend, and the Chicken Shawarma. The crust here is absolute perfection wonderfully pillowy and light, with zero floury aftertaste. The aromatic herb mix in the Za'atar is deeply savory and nutty, and the cheese blend they use is utterly divine. My favorite Lebanese pies place, I love to eat all kinds of Manooshi there, they are truly delicious, they gotta watch out on the level of oil in the zaatar manooshi and the grocery shopping for me is joyful because some of my favorite items are there
