Renee's Family Restaurant

Have been here several times. Used to be my go-to when it was Jerry's. Have watched the menu get more and more pricey, the food is nothing special and the atmosphere is looking for a clientele that is not of this area. Rene needs to find a place Center of the Square for her prices and attitudes and let someone else like Jerry take the restaurant back and make it the place it was. $40-50 bucks for breakfast is ridiculous for what is served. An omelet with zero sides $15 ? Seriously ? This place is not going to make it as the crowd gets smaller and smaller and she can't keep the help she has..

My husband and I stopped by this wonderful family restaurant and were truly blown away. From the moment we walked in, we were met with such warmth and kindness. The staff were not only professional, but genuinely welcoming—and the food was absolutely incredible. Wishing nothing but blessings and continued success to this beautiful family and their business.

Our first visit was for breakfast. Food was good. Service was good. Facility was clean. Music was good for a Sunday breakfast. Will definitely go back. Oh, and for the reviews about the prices - fast food prices are very comparable.

Poor Service. Super greasy food! Overpriced! What put me off the most is that my daughter was taking a few seconds to think of what she wanted to drink and the man taking our drink order walked away instead of being patient and letting her order. Never came back and got someone else to get our drinks. Went to get another customers drink order who came in after us instead of being patient. I will never go back here.

Met for a small family get together, and I was impressed with the good food and astounded by the stellar service. We all got breakfast or lunch dishes and everyone was pleased with the quality and flavor of their meals. The atmosphere was homey, with food to match. Prices were a tad on the expensive side comparatively, but the attentive service made it a genuinely pleasant meal.

We came we saw we won't be back!-
We came in on a Saturday morning. It was q little busy but nothing crazy. We stood up front about a minute while a gentleman entered his orders into the ps. He says it will be a minute while they prepare a table. That's when another couple walks in and is immediately greeted by another female co- worker who she proceeds to seat them immediately. The guy at the register says I'm so sorry about that- finished up entering the order and walks away- in meantime passes the same female co worker not saying anything about the fact she just sat someone in front of us and proceeds to walk away. The girl sees us and walks away as well.... at that point I'm out. So a manager or someone important enough to sit in the dining area apparently was seated in the area and oversaw all of this. She tried to stop us after I went out the first door. However, at that point she should have intervened way way sooner. Understand, this was absolutely disappointing- aa I've wanted to try them for months now since moving nearby. Now I'll be driving further to enjoy breakfast

My son is autistic and will not eat French fries when asked to get another hot dog in place of French fries, even agreed to pay an up charge but not the full price of another kids meal which included fries and a drink we were asked to leave. GLADLY!! The food is ridiculously priced and the male waiter was very hateful. I do not recommend eating here. Unless you have deep pockets and a taste for bad customer service. Shame on all of you

Hardly recommend this little spot, the food was the best i ever try in this town, absolutely, just simple and plain great flavor, eggs taste fresh and cooked property not like some places around, so my experience w/family was very good

This is really good, might cost more than down the road but if you want actual flavor you'll get it here, anyone can just make it bland but not here so give it a shot

EAT HERE, ADD IT AS A STOP ON YOUR ROUTE!!!

Came here during a work trip and let me tell you it’s a must visit while driving to or through Roanoke area. The service was quick and food was out very fast. I ordered the pancake and meat lovers omelette. They were both fantastic and paired well together, the flavor was amazing.

We were also pleased to actually meat Renee, she is very kind, super welcoming and takes pride in her business.

If you’re looking for homestyle food with some classics (sandwiches and burgers) this is the place. The food is consistently good and service is great as well. The place has been cleaned up well recently and they are always sweet to my toddler and get her food out faster so she doesn’t wait as long.

Everything is just very expensive, it's not the restaurants fault but it's just very irritating. About $40 for two people to have breakfast for god sakes...
I hope it gets better.
