“This was our first time in Roanoke and to Martin’s. We had fast, friendly service and the food was amazing! My husband had the Mac & cheese with fried chicken on top and I had the Philly with truffle fries…yum😋“

“My parents and I came to Roanoke for Thanksgiving vacation. We were out shopping and wanted a drink and a snack. So glad we stopped in here! We ended up going back again the next day. Marlee, the bartender, was the best! Super friendly and pleasant. She gave great recommendations and talked to us between serving other guests. My dad had the corned beef sandwhich, which was kind of fatty but authentic corned beef normally is. It had great flavor! Mom had the chili which we both really liked. The next day we went back to see Marlee again. Mom got the patty melt that she really enjoyed and my dad and I split the Tim's chicken. It was fantastic! I ended up talking to the host, Damon, and he was equally friendly and we enjoyed talking about music. All in all, I really enjoyed it and plan to go back next time we are in Roanoke. Thanks Marlee for making our trip special and memorable!“

“We were there today for lunch, it was our first time. Let me just say, the food was amazing, and so were Amy and Jon!! They both made us feel so welcome. It was a great time. “Simple. No frills place. Accessible and comfortable. Not expensive. Nothing crazy here. Just a simple clean place. The venue has two sides. One completely closed off smoking side with bar. Tables and chairs. The same on the other side. Larger and more open non smoking. Servers were pretty cool and polite.“

“Just had dinner with family after picking our Christmas tree. This is the first place that the waiter (Stephen) came and checked on us frequently, apologized at least 3 times when one of us didn’t get our meal at the same time. Drinks were filled without having to wait or be asked. He was very courteous and had a big smile while waiting on us. I would say the waiter deserves a 10+ for the wonderful experience. Will make another trip for sure!“
