I met my friend there last night, shared a yummy large pretzel, I had salad with grilled chicken and bacon added. Thank you, Chef, for using real bacon!

Went in with high hopes of good food left not even eating half of my meal everything was super bland! If your looking for seasoned food, GO ELSEWHERE. I was super excited for the Lamberger. It looked great but tasted like retirement home food even with salt, pepper, and ketchup, added it still didn’t help. They don’t have any regular dressings. They’re all house made & not actually good so couldnt even eat my salad. My friend tasted everything i had also & agreed his poutine was fine. The best part of my entire meal was the skillet cookie dessert. It was amazing. Service was OK. They were just moving kind of slow for them to not be busy when we went and the atmosphere sheesh its literally like a dungeon inside super dark! Luckily they discounted my food since i left basically everything on my plate so customer service was good but Iwon’t be back except for that cookie really.

Twice there so far. Everything was excellent. Kyle gave perfect service as well, both visits.

The food was great. Service was great as well. Had the blackened flounder with scallops. Pretzel was great. Definitely recommend this place.

Found this establishment when looking for a place to eat after a visit to the botanical gardens. It was also necessary to have a dog friendly place as we had our pooch. We were able to sit outside with our dog and while the seating over looks the parking lot it is comfortably set back from the main road. The food was excellent! I had the fried chicken and french toast (rather decadent with bacon and peanut butter) and my wife had the pork and mac n cheese (they smoke the pork on the premises). Service was very attentive and we never felt rushed even though we arrived an hour before closing. We will be back.

Been trying out new places in Hampton roads and haven’t been impressed by anything. I usually try a place out then just leave with my mental notes. This place though, this place was the straw on the camels back. I will not be silenced. Out of the worst restaurants in the area this one is top two. Not only is it bad food and bad service, but my pet peeve, they’re liars. “Bacon cheeseburger”? That was a monte cristo on a raw burger. So raw that it was reminiscent of my drunk uncle cooking in the backyard after his divorce. Oh man, you thought the burger was rough wait till you see the “poutine”. Only way I could describe it would be if an Indian street food vendor once was described poutine and tried his okayest. Hey you, yeah you do you like meat water drowned fries covered in discounted piggly wiggly meat? Well come on down to 1608! Worst part of the whole experience was the service was so slow that it was like watching le miserable in half speed in Cambodian with no subtitles. I don’t know if I can blame service to much cause how long does it take to cook a raw burger? It’s like the kitchen is the size of an extended stay hotel kitchen. Well that’s my one and done. Also turn on some lights in there. It’s like an adult bookstore.

Burger was undercooked but everything was delicious otherwise.

The chicken tenders were amazing. The Mac and cheese were creamy. The burger is so juicy. Overall 5 stars.

We ate lunch here as a family of four, plus our dog (so we sat outside). Service was friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our food, and I was told my wife’s sandwich was one of the best she ever had, and my daughter thought the same of her chicken fingers. The burger was excellent, still juicy and pink on the inside as I asked for. The fries were great. Good beer selection.

Looking forward to going back and dinning in.

Absolutely one of the best Steaks to be found anywhere! Been coming here for years and it has never disappointed!

The red snapper was cooked perfectly and the pasta was amazing. The lamb burger was juicy and delicious with a nice cold salad on the side.

Didn't think I would like the food but it exceeded my expectations.
