We loved our service here! The waitress was incredibly helpfulC friendly and patient with our larger party. She was able to recommend items from the brunch menu, she gave us her favorite foods to try and she was great at describing the foods so we could make a good decision.

The ambiance is nicely decorated to match the vibe of the menu and its name being a craft house. The art in the bathroom was not just art but an ode to food information as it was packed with facts and beautiful art.

We had an about a 30 min wait but it went fast and the food and service did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their foods, we tried a lot of items from the brunch menu simply because we know this place will switch the options up.

Mimosa flight: favorite was the pineapple, least favorite was the orange juice.
The Big A** Pretzel was like a bagel consistency and even had like everything bagel seasoning. The cheese sauce served with it was incredibly delicious.
The Bone Marrow was excellent- the toasted bread was perfect and the Rockefeller oysters were cooked perfectly.

Some of the other items not pictured were more from the brunch menu and we all agree it was a 5/5 experience and would love to return when in town.

Food didn’t seem worth for the price and some items leads to desiring getting other items. With a revolving seasonal items. These additional items keeps at least something to look forward too.

Service was great. Friendly, pleasant and timely. The food......Wow! My hubby is a beef ? carnivore. He said his steak was by far the best he ever had. I had a fried green tomato sandwich. Best ever! Also fries are made in house and delish! No cheap...but well worth the splurge.

My husband and I stopped by yesterday after going to a ghost tour and it was a great time. I had the tomato bisque soup and grilled cheese and he had the steak sandwich wrap. Both were delicious and our server was knowledgeable and very polite. Will definitely be stopping by again!

Friendly service for sure. A definite 5. Ambiance could use some help, the lighting is too low that it feels stuffy and dated. There aren’t a lot of wall decor. Definitely a 2 for ambiance.

We ordered chili with pork rinds. Must have been an off day since the pork rinds were under seasoned and not fresh from fryer temperature hot. It made the rinds tough and not crispy. We also ordered lamb burger. Seems that there is some vinegary taste to it. Not a huge fan. The tangy chicken was the best. Very well seasoned, came with sunny side egg and gravy. Food was a solid 3.

Outside seating, although limited, was outstanding. The service spot on with a low workload. The food was very good. Breakfast of pizza with runny egg, cheddar rosemary biscuit with fried chicken and sausage gravy, and two breakfast sandwiches that they allowed alterations to.( bacon vice sausage.)

This place is amazing! We searched it on our trip from Maryland to North Carolina for a lunch stop and couldn’t have been more impressed with the menu choices. There is something for everyone here! If you can’t find something on this menu to order, there is something wrong with you. They have everything from pizza, burgers and fries, to seafood, steak and chicken. I had the poutine which was amazing! I also tried the bone marrow and oysters. The bone marrow was superb! Bloody Marys are on point and the raw oysters were divine. The Country breakfast (cheese grits, 2 eggs, apple smoked bacon, fried green tomatoes and sourdough toast with butter) was packed with so much flavor that no additional seasoning was needed. First time I have ever had grits at a restaurant that did not need salt. My only disappointment was that I was too full for dessert. Hopefully I get back this way again someday. My props to the chef/owner! Service (Emily) was excellent and the atmosphere was great (we sat outside on the patio). This place is in a very unassuming location in a little strip mall so I hope that no one overlooks it because of the location. Visit 1608 Crafthouse for the food and/or brunch, you will not be disappointed.

We came for first time to enjoy the weekend brunch specials. Our favorite was the chicken French toast with bacon, PB, maple/boubon butter, and syrup. The brunch pretzel was huge the size of the pizza box they served it in. Pretzel was thick and dense, not too much flavor internally, but had sweet layer on top. Wouldn’t order that again, but probably would be better to get their savory version where you can dip in mustard and cheese sauce. Brunch one definitely needed a dip! Pancake was okay, didn’t taste like a normal pancake. The jumbo wings had unique flavor sauce and dip and yummy candied bacon on top.

Great experience! The food was delicious and looked all/mostly homemade. The wait was a tiny bit longer than I'm used to, but the food totally evened that out. I got the pork burger, which was so good! And to finish we got a grilled PB&J for dessert. If you like PB&J's, this dessert is for you!! Hope to visit again someday:)

First time here. Came to see what they had for happy hour. Got the pork rinds but not sure if I got a stale batch but the texture was off... the oxtail dip was really good though. Pizza was $5 for happy hour and it was really good.
