Great hidden gem Resturant and Bar in the Virginia Beach area. The food was amazing and location has daily specials. We tried the pork rinds with chili sauce and found them a great combo. The pizza was nice and thin and the hot honey was a great adder. The lamb burger with fried egg was really good and was nice to have the salad vs fries.

Check the menu prices before you go. Taxes in VB are 12%. Chesapeake. 6%. Norfolk 6.5%. Tourist taxes keep us locals away. No fair.

Whenever I find myself in Va this is always a good to stop for dinner. Delicious food and a nice selection of craft beers.

The service was great, but the food was average. Group of 4, got the shishitos/brussels (delicious), hot honey pizza (delicious), and the chicken empanadas (delicious), to start. I ordered the crab cakes, they were sweet, it was a little off putting at first. Not a fan of the tomato puree that comes with it. Husband got the steak wrap, would not recommend. 75% cabbage, 25% overcooked steak and the sauce 0/10. Friend got the seafood pasta dish (can’t remember the name), she said it needed more flavor and definitely more salt. Other friend got the shredded pork bowl (can’t remember the name), which he seemed to enjoy. Overall won’t make the hour long trip to go back.

My husband and I have been fortunate to dine at 1608 Crafthouse multiple times, and I can confidently say that the food consistently exceeds our expectations. Some of my personal culinary highlights include their expertly crafted lamb burger, the comforting and satisfying spaghetti and meatballs, and, without a doubt, their bread pudding, which is, in my opinion, the absolute best I have ever tasted. In addition to the exceptional food, the service is always a pleasant experience; the servers are consistently friendly, attentive, and make you feel very welcome.

I stopped in for a quick bite during happy hour around 4pm. I had delicious freshly shucked local oysters served with a selection of craft hot sauce. I also enjoyed a serving of oxtail chili on special with home made queso and freshly fried pork rind. The menu was well curated by the chef and was clearly made with passion. The foods I ordered were served promptly and with a great attitude from the bartender and server assisting him. The environment was welcoming and friendly. The beer list was stellar. It offered a mix of local cans and popular brews from around the States, Canada, and beyond. The bartender informed me of tap takeovers and other exciting happenings at this awesome quaint local spot. Would go back!

The MOST delicious fried *Korean style* chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming. This is not your regular strip mall eatery - tasty, original menu, great beer, and friendly staff.

After driving for ten hours in the car back home to Virginia Beach we decided to pick up food to take home. I ordered the shrimp and grits. $27 plus tax and tip and the portion size is obnoxious. This is ridiculous. I can’t believe I paid the amount I did for two tiny cups not even filled halfway of grits and shrimp. Do better! So disappointed and hungry.

We must have walked in on a slow night - maybe 12 people in there.
We ordered the cheeseburger with poutine fries. Both were excellent!!!
