The coffee, food, and pastries here are genuinely excellent. The quality is consistently impressive, and it is clear the kitchen takes pride in what they produce.

Unfortunately, the customer service does not reflect that same level of care. Each time I come in, the interactions feel dismissive and unwelcoming. I am often left standing at the counter without acknowledgment, and when I am helped, the interaction feels rushed and indifferent rather than courteous.

When you are spending over $100 on a bag of coffee, you expect at least a basic level of respect. Instead, the experience feels cold and impersonal, which does not align with the premium quality and pricing of the product.

This has been consistent over multiple visits, not a one time experience. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and takes away from what should otherwise be a great local business.

It is disappointing, because what they offer is genuinely good. With even a small improvement in customer service and basic professionalism, this place could easily live up to the high standard set by its coffee and food.

I’ve only been twice and both times it was partially to try specialty menu items… unfortunately both times I am 90% sure I did not receive what I ordered. I’m not sure if I am not clear enough in my ordering but the first time I received a regular coffee w/ cream and sweetener when it was intended to have some cinnamon-y flavoring and a cold foam and the second time I ordered the matcha from the LEGO weekend menus and received a regular unflavored matcha- and at first I thought that the flavoring was subtle but my friend went the day after and ordered the same and I realized that hers had cold foam and mine didn’t. The matcha was still really yummy, it just wasn’t what I asked for and I didn’t notice until I was already on the road… again this could be user error but it’s a bit disappointing especially because the things I was ordering are limited time and I only travel down that way every once in a while.

Wow. This is what you should expect from a coffee shop. Great atmosphere, coffee and bakery items simply amazing taste. This is what Starbucks probably thought they were doing when the first started, now, the bucks can’t compete. 17 Hands is absolutely a fantastic place to be.

Great Coffee. They had lots of coffee options and a few baked goods. We got a coffee and a buttermilk biscuit which they heated up and was really good. Their baked goods come the next store baker Robin Simmons which is really good as well. So baked goods and a coffee great combo.

I found this place through Instagram, and, in my opinion, it's one of the best coffee spots in the area. I've tried multiple different lattes and have been satisfied each time. My only drawback is that I wish they had a bigger store, although I can't even hold that against them due to their store being inside a shopping plaza. Side note, they're also the only coffee spot that I've seen that has peanut butter coffee, which I wish was a permanent flavor on the menu. The pastries are also great! They have this sticky bun that I love. Overall, a must try in the area.

The staff were rude. The gentleman that took our order copped an attitude with us when I asked him to repeat himself because I couldn't hear him. Then while waiting for our food we observed another couple enter the establishment and accidentally go behind the counter, which is not clearly labeled or partitioned. The same gentleman got an attitude with them as well.

Their system for getting orders out needs fixed, the staff were not loud enough when announcing order names and left the food after announcing the name only once, not ensuring it gets to the proper customer. This caused much confusion for customers. Our order got confused with another customer who had a similar last name, and similar order. If they labeled their orders properly and stayed with the food for a quick moment like other establishments then this instance could have been avoided. I was so embarrassed by the order mix up that I left without trying the food, so I cannot speak on that, however our sandwich and quiche looked burnt.

A sandwich, quiche, plain coffee, and iced coffee cost $36 before the tip and we waited 30min for it.

Was very busy when walking in, but even through the chatter a buzz was cozy and homey. They just put out butterscotch with rum glaze scones. My girlfriend and I shared it with a iced tuxedo mocha latte. And I am picky about my coffee and have a lot of issues going places and being a snob but this was amazing. The scone wasn't dry, had some moisture and the glaze wasn't too sweet, wasn't sticky and was just enough warmth to not be too much. The coffee was great wasn't too much ice to the point where I feel like I was ripped off and didn't water it down. Actual coffee taste with flavoring enhancing the flavors honestly will recommend this place. For a little small coffee place this was one of the better ones I have gone to.
