Place is great to eat but they add 20% gratuity to the check and some service is definitely not worth 20%. Ordered all you can eat crab legs and waited a very long time in between plates. Ran out of drinks multiple times. If you get Mike as a server your best bet is to just go home it’s not worth it.

before you order food look at kitchen and bathroom they are nasty to say the least. I paid 30$ for 5 fried oysters and a big pile of cold freezer fries. when I spoke to waiter he was not concerned he only said have a nice day, he was smug and dismissive. 4 people were dinning with me stake was tuff most of our order didn't come till after we were done. Mandatory 20% tip may be why waiter really didn't care. I could go on but you get the idea don't eat there!

Went Saturday for lunch, place was great. Server was attentive and food was good.
The kids pasta was way better than I expected.
It wasn’t busy so I think that helped with having a good experiance.

I am a 4th generation local and usually don't venture down to the Oceanfront, but the lure of their nightly specials changed my mind. Additionally, I have recommended 21st St Seafood to thousands through my platforms. I can no longer recommend this establishment
Last night, I met a friend and business colleague for dinner. Our waitress, Ashley, was pleasant. When she brought our check (for a party of 2) The tip was in the body of the ticket and the usual three boxes for tip selection were below. When I asked about the tip, she looked a little disappointed and said "Yes, it is already on there". I have, and I assume many, many others, have been double tipping all along. Also, a small "non cash payment charge" was added. It was a small amount, but it was the principle. It should have been disclosed, and I should have been presented an option. I would have gladly paid cash.
To top it all off, the debit card I used was compromised and 10 fraudulent charges appeared. After calling the bank and shutting down my card, I called 21st St to advise them of the probable data/ employee security breach. A Manager named Debbie promptly returned my call. I also asked about the non disclosure of the tip already being included to which she replied "It is posted on our hostess stand." Who reads that before a meal? We never even WENT to the hostess stand! Unsuspecting diners have fallen victim to this as well. Having been a General Manager myself for decades, I realize that a policy change of this nature would go through the Owner. I asked for a return call from the Owner and also their accounting person. I was promised that I would receive a call "within the hour". It has been going on three. Hence, this review. If it was not to happen as promised, AT LEAST, a courtesy call should have been made from the Manager that I spoke to inform me of a delay. All I can do is assume the worst. That I have been dismissed, or forgotten.
By the misleading policies, the confusing bills and lack of follow up. They have spoken. Now, so will I. Let the court of public opinion commence

I order all you can eat crabs, served 5, then told there were no more carbs available, but still had to pay 1/2 price. I didn't eat 1/2 of all you can eat. they refused to take the full charge off the bill. This was a scam, they knew when I ordered they didn't have enough crabs left and should have told me this when I ordered.

My friends an I went to Va Beach for the weekend and decided to try this place out. We loved it so much we came back the next day before we left to head back home. Our server Cheyenne was AMAZING! We had a party of 10 and she handled it without a single issue. She was very attentive and we never had to want for anything as she was on top of everything. We had the All You Can Eat Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious, then came back for All You Can Eat Crab Legs & Hush Puppies. The flavor was on point for everything and the drinks were delicious! We loved Cheyenne so much that we all gave her an additional tip on top of the already included gratuity because she deserved it. I know where we will be eating on our next visit and surely will request that sweet ray of sunshine Cheyenne again.

I love the food here!!! The #2 Gyrp Platter is my absolute favorite!! Portions are plentiful and the food is fresh and delicious!! My must have meal when we visit the beach!!

Husband had burger and fries and he loved it. I had grilled chicken sandwich and fries and it was good, grilled chicken was cooked perfectly. Granddaughter had chicken tenders and fries and she ate good. She got a lot of fries. The fries were crispy which we love and lots of them. Restaurant was clean also. We thought the prices were reasonable. We would definitely recommend. Thanks 21st Street Grill
