A Bite Of Maine

I went 8 years ago. I got the lobster roll and it was great and this time I got the crab roll. It was delicious. Nothing but crab meat and creamy. It was so delicious and I got the soup. It was a little watery but it was okay. But all in all this the best seafood place I have ever ate in my life and I'm 60. I give this a 10 star. It only go up to five

The lobster and crab rolls were AMAZING. The special on Thursday on the mix or match rolls is a great deal. We have went the last 2 trips down and it was hands down my favorite meal. If we were local we would definitely go often!

Tried this place for lunch while visiting VB and it didn’t disappoint. We had lobster rolls, haddock and chips, and haddock bites and fries. Great taste and food was fresh, serving portions were good too.
The guy who took our order was very friendly and gave us great suggestions.

I’ve never been to Maine. So when I planned a trip here, I had one goal in mind. I was going to have my first ever lobster roll. I was told THIS was the place. Matt greeted me with a smile and kindness. I asked questions and with no hesitation, told me that as someone born from Maine, I should definitely go with the Connecticut style lobster roll. I know it is his job to provide customer service, but he truly came off as a man who liked and enjoyed where he works. Thank you Matt for a great first experience! I can’t wait to come back for another.

Best lobster rolls in the 757

Ordered two lobster rolls expecting a great treat for my wife and myself. Returned home and opened my take out box and were surprised at the tiny hot dog rolls, not New England style with toasted sides. Off the grocery store shelf cheap rolls. Also, no butter with the order. I do not recommend the establishment anymore as they have become substandard in my opinion and not the establishment they once were when they first got started as a food truck operation.

I went on a Thursday when their hours were 11am to 2pm. Check their hours before you go! My family member recommended this place. I'm not from Maine, and I've never been. So, I can't provide a reference to their Maine authenticity.

HOWEVER, the food was delicious. I had their Maine lobster roll, rock crab roll, and chowder of the day. The bread on both rolls was toasted and buttered. The lobster and crab were fresh and plentiful. The chowder was not very thick (but I didn't mind that as I'm lactose intolerant), AND they offered taste samples of the chowder.

The restaurant was VERY BUSY! The line was all the way to the door the entire time. From 1:50pm until 2pm, patrons literally jogged or ran to get inside before they closed.

Do not miss this gem. Treat yourself. The price is spot on for the portion size and freshness.

I can't wait to go back. (I was visiting the area)

Had sunday scallop basket
Tasted wonderful, I'm from Maine/NH just wish the breading was like there. It fell off the scallops here dont know if it's the breading or the scallops were wet when breaded.

This place serves great food. Laid back casual eatery in a strip mall. I tried the lobster roll and shrimp roll. Both were excellent. Get the lobster roll if you're only going for one visit. It's good!

Crabster roll was 🔥. My 7 yr old loved the haddock bites. 3 yr old ate up the red Maine hot dog. Decor is fantastic. Clean. Friendly service. All around fantastic. A must try.

I’m from Maine and came all the way from Suffolk to get 4 red hot dogs and lobster rolls. I was so disappointed in the red hot dogs. I thought they were going to be steamed rolls and a nice full hot dog. But instead the hot dog was overcooked and shriveled up dry and roll was hard. I was looking for a taste of home. Lobster roll was good.
