AJ Gators Sports Bar & Grill

Myself and big John came in this week. The food quality has gone downhill. Between the bar and waitress the service is slow. Now i see for myself,what the other guys were talking about. We'll go to southbeach grill for food and come here for the drinks (maybe) I guess.It took 45 minutes to get a drink. While all the waitress stood at the computer by the door.It's the same cycle. Who are these new waitress. Is this their first job? The only sweetheart we know is shelby. We'll be back in another 6months or never. Ps. I heard from a buddy of mine. They are hiring customers straight from the tables. What is going on?

I was at the bar for 10 minutes today around 2:00pm. The bartender walked by me at least 6 times and did not offer me a cocktail, so I left. I go in there regularly. I will give it another try.

New management has really made this place great. Amazing beer prices and specials last quite a while. Had my fantasy football draft here, and it was tons of fun. They let us hang up our draft board and deal with separate checks.

Great service, great food, we are vacationing but this seems like the local place to be!

Waited over an hour and a half for food that was completely incorrect. No attempt to try and fix. Left without eating.

Waited over an hour for a bacon cheeseburger and a chicken Philly that were both luke warm at best. Watched as a family of 5 and 4 both got there food ate asked for checks and left before we even got our food even though we were there before them.this seems to be a reoccurring problem as we we were here last week with the same issue with the same order.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade, but today will change that. After ordering, we waited over an hour for food, at 1 pm on a Wednesday with 5 other tables. My group got 3 orders of gator tail. Two were so overcooked that they looked like beef jerky and were completely inedible. One tasted very off, all three got sent back. The chicken strips were so overcooked that we debated sending them back but decided to cut our losses. One person got fried fish, it was mostly breading and was also severely overcooked. The poor waitress was running the bar and front of house entirely by herself, so service was very slow. Not her fault, whoever staffs the place needs to schedule better. Terrible experience, I called a different restaurant to place a to go order while I was still at this one.

Terrible service, only three tables of people and waited over 45 minutes for food and then some of the food items ordered were missing or out after the wait time. Don’t waste your time or money.

Food took forever, it came out cold. Potato salad was rancid. It was not even busy maybe 3 tables. Very disappointed especially being on vacation and looking forward to a new place. Waitress was nice and at least refilled drinks while ww waited over 45+ minuted for our food/

I don't know who's running the kitchen now and days.But please keep him/her. This is the freshest tasting food that I have had in a while.Everything seems fresh,The plate set up is nice. From the slice lemons to the sprinkle of the green seasoning.i came in for drinks but the couple next to me good looked so delicious. I had to give you guys a try again. I stopped eatting there a year ago because the quality went down the drain. But now you have a returning customer back.Our dining experience was inconsistent, with the food deserving 5 stars, but the service falling short with only 1 star. Jane, our bartender, had a tendency to take our order and then spend extended periods, around 10 minutes, in the kitchen. Through the glass door, I noticed her sitting in the office, chatting with someone. She would repeatedly visit the office every 7-8 minutes. As a customer, it is frustrating to have to locate our server or bartender to request a refill.

Our bartender, TJ, could not have cared less if we were happy, disappointed or in between with our food or drinks. Thankfully the food was awesome !! We had to call out loud to get his attention and any assistance (numerous times) Thankfully we didn’t need very much (if any at all) Another drink or our check, a “to go box” and even that we had to call, out loud to get his attention (yet he didn’t look up from his phone) How about leave your phone in your car or at home. You are in a “service position” Don’t make us feel as though we are asking for something special (our check so we can pay and leave) Place was very clean, food was great. Service, was far less than expected !!!
