Can I just say this is the best soul food I’ve ever had. Linhda and Lisa are the two beautiful women working so hard in this place making the best meals!!! My fiancé and I always go to the E-Mart next door and never noticed this gem! We LOVE good food and love a small business..So we walked in and were greeted with a homey feeling. Walking in just makes you feel good talking to these ladies was such a highlight! Now let’s talk about the food!…. I got the baked spaghetti with garlic bread and a side of fried corn and potato salad.. UHM TO DIE FOR. My fiancé got the 3 jumbo chicken wings with Mac and cheese collard greens and corn fritters!! (he’s licking the plate as I’m typing this) Don’t forget a side of the sweet spicy sauce which has to be the best sauce around!!! Needless to say we are blown away with every aspect of this experience. Please if you happen upon this place like we did, do yourself a favor and walk on in!

I saw that this place offered yok and I was so excited to try it. Finally had the opportunity to order it on Ubereats today. I also ordered plain wings and white rice for my kid. I missed a call from the restaurant and when I called them back, they were talking with each other about why they called me. Then they told me, no problem, everything is good. When the delivery driver dropped my food off, the entire order of yok was missing (over $20 with add-ons through Ubereats). Of course no one answered when I called back and they certainly never said they were out of it when I called. That is not the way to make a good first impression. Thankfully, Ubereats refunded the cost of the dish.

My rice is so undercooked, there was no possible way I could enjoy it. Also missing one of the two kids meals I paid for. Then the person who answered the phone stated she don’t know how the rice is undercooked when allShe had to do was taste it herself. The first time here the food was delicious, the second time which is today the food was a disappointment. It’s a no for me after today.
Had the pleasure of conversing with businesswoman and owner of Alisa's Angel Soul Food located at the corner of Princess Anne Rd and Baxter Rd in Virginia Beach. If you haven't stopped by to see their extensive menu... let me tell you... they have something for everyone no matter who you are. Went to order wings but decided to try the fried pork chop dinner instead. Haven't eaten chops or bread in quite some time before today so they didn't last long on the plate lol. You can eat your meal inside in their dining room or order to go. They also have a nice banquet hall that you may use for venues. What better way to host your event and have them cater right here in Virginia Beach without breaking your bank. Must return to try the chicken wings in the future.

Very good experience! Nice food, delicious honey bbq wings, and slappin sweet potatoes. My dad loves the smothered pork chops says they were “falling off the bone”. This is a great place to rent for a birthday dinner. We had our own room and great lighting flows in for photos and videos. Blue and gold decor made it feel nice and cute. Great place for lunch and dinner. They have a separate take out window and service was pretty fast.

Purchased 5 meals from this place the food was not seasoned at all price was high for amount of food sides was horrible tasted like it was store bought products best thing was corn bread and bread pudding I don't recommend wasting your time or money its way to many better places to visit
