I have been in Virginia Beach for 9 years...9 years I've been looking for authentic Korean food. I found this gem the night before we leave. If anyone is feeling authentic and delicious Korean food please come here! It's a little Mom & daughter duo hole in the wall. It's near Little Creek Base. Please please please come here! It's worth it.

This place was absolutely amazing. Not only was our server the nicest person I have ever met but the food was also made to order and delicious. The fact that a mom and her daughter are the ones running everything only made it even sweeter. I genuinely could not recommend a place more even simply based on service. We ordered the pork belly, the spicy fish stew and the spicy beef stew and all of them were fantastic and spiced to your personal preference. On top of that, all the banchan was great, especially the kimchi. I’ve never left a restaurant in recent years so grateful to have visited

Best Family Style Korean BBQ restaurant in the Hampton Roads Area. The owner Kim is so generous and kind. She always makes sure our banchans are refilled. Also, they are probably the only one I know that has at least 6 or more banchans per table. We've been coming here for the past 10 years and hope that they can stay open for more years to come. Highly recommend their beef bulgogi!

So delicious! This is a hidden gem with amazing food and unparalleled service. It’s not fancy but so charming! The mother/daughter team warms my heart. We go at least twice a month since discovering it!

My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden gem today and I am so thankful we did. Kimberly and her mom are a dynamic duo. The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Kimberly is nothing short of phenomenal. She is attentive and extremely sweet. Just today’s experience alone is enough to make us regulars moving forward. Thank you guys!!

The food is good but we were overcharged. Very limited amount of banchan was served. Some side item prices are not written in the menu, kinda deceiving. We were charged $9.99 for 5 pieces of lettuce leaves and $25 for one bottle of soju. She also put in 20% tip automatically( also not indicated in the menu).

HIGHLY recommend going here - let me just start by saying it is just a mom and her daughter running the place (Kimberly I believe). So any reviews giving 1 star saying it was closed or something, it's an unfair review as life does happen and it's hard with just two people. And again with calling in advance, they may not answer because it's a two man show, so show them some grace and they will shower you with 10x more.
Next, the food was phenomenal, photos I attached is of the hot stone bowl, and it did not disappoint. Was celebrating my birthday with some friends (cupcakes in the photo not included at the restaurant haha), and they were very kind and was so sweet. Highly recommend and will continue going here to help support small!

The most heartwarming and delicious Korean dining experience for us in the 17 years of our lives across 30+ states in the US. Kimberly is bright , caring and very efficient and it feels like home in her place. Her mom is the cook and a very skilled one at that 👌 It was a dinner to cherish and we will definitely go back 💝

My faimily dined here last night. Definitely the most authentic Korean food i ever tasted in the US! I grew up in Korea and their food reminded me of the food I used to enjoy in korea. If you ever want to experience authentic Korean food and service, I highly recommend here. And don't understand estimate the authentic Korean style service. It's something different! My wife said the stone bowl bibimbab was the best one ever!
