Bahama Breeze

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was tasteless, not seasoned, overcooked, and honestly disgusting. Nothing had flavor, nothing was fresh, and everything that hit the table felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp.

The only good thing about this visit was the bartender, Sparkle she was amazing, friendly, and the ONLY reason I didn’t walk out. She deserves better than the food she’s serving.

Bahama Breeze needs to do better, because right now the kitchen is a complete embarrassment. I definitely won’t be back.

Thank goodness the staff was friendly because the food was blah. My fries were hot, so that is a plus. My fried chicken was way over cooked and was super thin. They don't show you the very small lunch menu. It's an average of $30 per person for not great food. But The server was nice. Also, the restaurant is run down. The booths were all cracking...

Server Sharnette is amazing!! She’s the best server I’ve ever had at BB. So personable, knowledgeable, friendly & attentive. She’s waited on me several times in the past and she remembers what I like and enjoy. I always look for her when I come. Also Bahama Breeze’s food is absolutely delicious. I have never had an issue with my food. The Salmon Tostado Salad is what I ate today. I added egg and opted for ranch and their island dressing on the side. I also asked for my salmon to be blackened. It was delicious!! Come try it & ask for Sharnette.

We went as a party of 3 women and 3 little girls, very kid friendly; however, I didn’t know they charge for the games on the iPad thing. I ordered yuca cheese sticks (absolutely amazing), skirt steak churrasco (good) and children’s chicken tender/fries (good). We ordered Bahama mamas that were delicious. It was a great place to bring the girls and we’ll be back to try more from the very large menu.

Came the other day with my family of 4. And must I say my server was lacking intelligence. Ordered the jerk pasta with no veggies but instead came with veggies. I told my server about it yet she tells me “oh yea I seen the kitchen put a lot of veggies in there” when she indeed knew I told her no veggies. Didn’t give us the best service. And the jerk chicken entree was undercooked. Wished I received a better hospitality because we didn’t feel welcomed to the restaurant.

A go-to when I want something different and tasty. Great happy hour and late night weekday specials. Good mixed and specialty drinks as well. A fun time to be had in a group or solo at the bar

Food needs a little tweaking. Seafood paella was tasty, but rice was dry. Bahama mama drink was good. Service needs work. Server did not seem like she was having a good day.

My daughter and I just had a great late lunch at Bahama Breeze on 11/012025 at the Virginia Beach location and I have to say everything was great. Our server Cindy was polite and friendly and the food was excellent. I give it 5 stars. I hope to come back again.
