I mainly go for music and drinks. I have dined twice, and the food was solid and reasonably priced. The drinks are good and the staff is great, always friendly. They have a fantastic outside area that flows from full outside to tent to porch like to full inside.

We did our first ever Awareness Hike Oyster Roast in early March at Ballyhoos to raise money for local charity and their team went above and beyond our expectations and made the experience so easy and accommodating. They helped make the details easy to understand and gave great ideas to make the event flow effortlessly. Would highly recommend partnering with them for your future events as we will do our next oyster roast there next year.

First time there, very busy but service was spot on. Our server Kate provided great service with big personality. Food (burgers and fries) were very good. The ambiance is perfect, allowing us to choose from being in the middle of the music fanfare (popular local band) all the way to more quiet spaces. Excellent time, will be back!

Walked over to check it out and we were shocked that despite the restaurant being right off a major road, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere as we sat outside. Didn't realize there was a huge play area, which our kids LOVED! Giant connect four, bag toss, tether ball.. so much fun.
Food was pretty good - the shrimp with parm risotto stole the show but we also enjoyed fried grouper and the po'boy. Burger wasn't anything to write home about, but it's still a burger. Would recommend skipping the fries and getting literally any other side. The crush selection was really fun (spicy seed and Valencia ranch water 🔥🔥), and I thought the prices were extremely reasonable considering the area. Out of the $2 PBR, but it was later on a Sat night so can't place too much blame.
Service was decent. I believe our server was pretty new, which is fine; everyone has to start somewhere! Between her and other staff members we were given plenty of attention and didn't go without what we needed.
They had a band come play later on that I thought was really good (Jen Exits). Very cool set up, and if you don't want to be in the thick of it, there's still outdoor dining as well as another bar area (which i like their TV setup a lot!)
We have already discussed that this will be a repeat this summer - happy to stumble upon a place like this so close to home!

They hosted my 60th BDay up there and they did an awesome job!! We took the tent of the left side and it was a really fun evening and the staff was on top of everything and took great care of us. Highly reccomended!
Had a great experience at Ballyhoos. I had a large party, 40 high school boys on a lacrosse team. DeeAnna and the team at Ballyhoos was so accommodating and easy to work with. They made sure the team was well fed and had a great time. If you are looking for a casual space for a very large party, Ballyhoos is the way to go.
