My wife is from Brooklyn and we've eaten at Mulberry Street many times in Little Italy ?? and some of the best Italian food in NY and we both agree that Basilico is the most authentic Italian food we've had the pleasure of enjoying in the entire area if not Virginia period...I've done close to 300 reviews so check it out if you think I haven't had my share of real Italian food and believe me when I say this is THE SPOT! Make sure next time you want a great pie and salad you search out this gem on Oceana! Have been wanting to get there and did today. Hubby and I got a large NY Pizza and the Chopped Antipasto Salad. Salad was huge and hands down best salad I have ever had! Pizza was amazing, cooked to perfection and tasted spectacular. Perfect sauce and cheese and baked well done without having to ask. Take it from an ex NY'er this is the spot in Virginia Beach.
