My date and I walked in and were seated quickly by a very sweet hostess. Little did I know that she would give us better service than the actual server! We were sitting down for 17 minutes before we even saw a server. A blonde woman whom I think was the manager walked up to us, gave us water and asked for drink orders (she was sweet as well and seemed to be a good server who helped around when she could) then told us a server should be right with us. I then heard her say āwho has table 12?!?ā. We are finally greeted by our server after sitting for 20 minutes, she didnāt even apologize for not greeting us and then took our order. After this interaction we saw her, ONCE MORE, and it was to give us boxes. She gives us the check and then ofc tells us there is an 18% gratuity. Now. I donāt usually write reviews but I am a server. I work hard and I give my tables the best service possible. As a server, I tip other servers well, knowing the bussiness. But if your going to add a gratuity to all of your tables, you better hire servers that can do there job. Our server did absolutely nothing. If there is gonna be a gratuity, it should go to the manager or first waitress who stopped by and checked on us, not the girl who took the order and dipped.

The restaurant is spacious with a very pleasant atmosphere and a fully stocked bar offering great adult beverage options. Parking can be a bit tight at the Shore Drive location, but once inside, Bay Local delivers.
We visited for a company end-of-year celebration with a party of 10, and the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great suggestions, which made ordering easy.
The appetizers were a hit! Everyone loved the Banginā Balls and the Poppinā Champagne Fried Shrimp. The cucumber salad that came with the shrimp was especially delicious. No complaints at the table.
For entrees, the Chicken and Waffles did not disappoint perfectly crispy waffle, tender and flavorful chicken. The Just Right Shrimp and Grits was enjoyed, my coworker mentioned the onions and peppers could have been chopped finer. The Jamaican Dark Rum French Toast was a hit, and overall everyone enjoyed their meals.
Great food, great service, and a solid spot for group dining or celebrations.

The food is always plentiful and tastes great. I love the grapefruit mimosa and my husband prefers the bloody Mary. Service is always on par as you do not have one person thatās dedicated to your table, but an entire team. Itās a fun brunch place!

I was in the hunt for shrimp and grits and this place definitely delivered. The dish was so good (added additional scallops as well) and also big enough that I didnāt eat dinner. This was a brunch dish.

Restaurant: clean, theme was cool with the mirrors, service and food times were incredibly fast and the food tastes like it was cooked with love. I see why it's packed even during nasty weather. And that house hot sauce is fit for anything between eggs and steak. Home fries are a staple and what most restaurants would aim to have. They use real cracked eggs, no mix. Waffles have a good flavor as well. The quality of the menu is coupled with the assortment of flavors and types of food. I give this place a high rating due to all of the charm, friendliness, and punctuation that mirrors the quality of food. I

Bring your appetite, the servings are huge. Everytime I visit my wife and I end up splitting a sandwich. I defy anyone get the club sandwich pressed down enough to actually bite into it. We ended up deconstructing it, but it was great.
