The food is always plentiful and tastes great. I love the grapefruit mimosa and my husband prefers the bloody Mary. Service is always on par as you do not have one person that’s dedicated to your table, but an entire team. It’s a fun brunch place!

I was in the hunt for shrimp and grits and this place definitely delivered. The dish was so good (added additional scallops as well) and also big enough that I didn’t eat dinner. This was a brunch dish.

Food and drinks were delicious. Went to two of the three locations while we were there for our short vacation. Can't wait to go back!

Tobias- busser went the extra mile, Friendly smiled
Chloe- hostess punctual straight forwards organized friendly
Chantel server patient, punctual
Friendly, always smiled no matter what plus she serves in a classic style of making sure everything is out in the correct place.
Restaurant: clean, theme was cool with the mirrors, service and food times were incredibly fast and the food tastes like it was cooked with love. I see why it's packed even during nasty weather. And that house hot sauce is fit for anything between eggs and steak. Home fries are a staple and what most restaurants would aim to have. They use real cracked eggs, no mix. Waffles have a good flavor as well. The quality of the menu is coupled with the assortment of flavors and types of food. I give this place a high rating due to all of the charm, friendliness, and punctuation that mirrors the quality of food. I

Bring your appetite, the servings are huge. Everytime I visit my wife and I end up splitting a sandwich. I defy anyone get the club sandwich pressed down enough to actually bite into it. We ended up deconstructing it, but it was great.

Food was excellent, but we arrived a little after 9AM and were charged $5 extra per meal for not being there just a little bit earlier. And the two of us had to also pay a mandatory 18% tip for service that was just ok. The server was cold and seemed annoyed by our presence.

The food was SO GOOD that I forgot to get pictures. My husband and I are from Texas but with him drilling here in Norfolk once a month, we sometimes get to check out local spots. He has been raving about this spot and I’m so glad we got a chance to have brunch here.
I got the Jamaican Dark Rum French Toast and it was very good. I ordered a side of the garlic Parmesan tots and they were to die for. My husband got the Big Al for the third time because he likes it so much. I tried it and could totally get it next time.
There are so many tasty options on the menu it will be heart to choose. My mother in law recently got the crab cake Bennie and raved about it as well. I’m willing to bet that you would be hard pressed to find something less than amazing on this menu.
Update: we went again when I was up from Texas and it was fantastic just as it was the first time.
I got the apple cider mimosa and the Willis Wharf Special which was delicious while my husband stuck with the Big Al.

I always love Bay Local Eateries! The food is amazing and I try different things.
It is a bit noisy with customers talking, but the food and service outweigh that part.

The food was very tasty, and the staff were all very helpful and nice. In general I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is a little pricey, but worth it, and their drinks are good too.
Their coffee is tasty and they're attentive with refills, and the staff is great about giving you time to look over the menu without leaving you waiting or rushing your decision.
I would recommend coming earlier in the morning, before 10am if you're able, as around then the parking can be a bit difficult and the restaurant becomes a good bit more crowded and louder. It's not a significant negative, but I've definitely enjoyed it more when I came earlier.

If you pop in ASK FOR KENDRA!! She made us the best Carmel latte it was soooo good! We got the Crab Dip appetizer and Lobster Benedict for our entree. I added a side of the Black Forest ham for a lil bit of that Traditional Benedict taste, because i was torn between the 2. I definitely recommend 10/10!

Have eaten here for years and it has always been high quality and good portions. They have a large menu and showcase a lot of traditional fares with their own twist on them. I always take people here when they visit.
