So greasy! Pizza was more grease than it was food, but if you're starving, maybe go elsewhere anyway! The service is subpar, not very communicative or helpful. Wish we'd gone somewhere slightly nicer for an $18 smallish pizza!

Finally I've found it I can stop the search for the best new york pizza in virginia Beach. This is it! Hallelujah! A real new york slice! I can now toss aside the other places who say they are what this place is. I don't care, I'm making the drive out here every weekend now just to get this pizza! Thank you sunrise! You're the only one who's actually doing the REAL new York taste and texture of a new York slice! Good pricing too! Yes yes yes!

Best pizza ive ever had. Fresh hot ingredients fast service. The cook was more than accommodating on a specialty pizza that was half white and chicken bacon ranch.the lasy taking orders was nice. Overall enjoyed everything about it

There seems to guy with black cap who just does whatever, he was called to do our pizza, and did it without washing his hands after being on a phone call. That's pretty concerning.
-As of writing this, the black cap guy is on his phone while doing an order without washing hands
We ordered medium pepperoni pizza and chicken Alfredo, it took about 10-15 minutes
The pepperoni pizza is good, so does the chicken Alfredo. I wouldn't recommend them until they do make sure each time they're cooking with good hygiene protocols
Overall I would give a good score for the food, but the score of how they did it, wouldn't be as high as the food

While in Virginia Beach over the Memorial Day weekend, my wife and I ordered a steak calzone and a supreme stromboli, and they were both DELICIOUS. The staff was awesome, and I wish I had their names, but the owner, cook, and the new employee who took our order were all very friendly. They were also helpful with choosing what to order, as it was our first visit to Sunrise Pizza. The location was convenient to our hotel, just a walk across the street. We will definitely be back when we return for our next visit to Virginia Beach.

I was just taking a walk down Virginia Beach one evening. Relaxing and I felt like stopping in to have a slice of pizza in a drink. The slice I had tasted good and the lady who took my order at the front counter was also very nice and friendly and the place you could eat inside as well. If you're walking down Atlantic Avenue enjoying the beach and what to grab? A. Slice of pizza or a whole pie check it out... I have only been this one time but my experience was good. So when I am in the area again I will definitely stop back.
