We ordered the Deviled eggs as a starter. The caviar was not overwhelming, egg cooked perfectly and the filling was smooth as silk. Overall a little salty. Hubby ordered the Cavalier Benny. The most beautiful poached eggs I have ever seen! The hollandaise sauce had the perfect tartness of bright lemon. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp were large, perfectly cooked and succulent. Grits were cheesy and so creamy.
I was fairly disappointed in my experience on 1/20. Arrived for our 8:15 reservation to no hostess at the booth to seat us and waited nearly 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited another 7-10 minutes for a server to greet us. Once greeted we were informed they were out of 7 items on the menu, which is totally understandable. We proceeded to order the lobster bruschetta and2 bowl of soup. Both soups came cold and when they arrived had to wait on spoons to come out. Sent soup to be warmed up for which I assume was the microwave because it came back out warm, but not hot and again without a spoon. The star of the whole night was the crab cake and the drinks that we ordered(which was our third option because they were out of the 2 wines that we chose). Overall a very mild experience.
We celebrated my wife's b'day at Becca. Every aspect of the dining experience was perfect. Michael our server was very professional and knowledgeable about intricacies of dishes, sauces etc. Highly recommend Becca to anyone..
Beautiful restaurant and nice staff but on our two orders of eggs Benedict three of the four yolks were fully set. I really try to never complain and ate one but it really isn't the same dish without the yolk as a secondary sauce. Our waitress didn't come by for a while and did eventually bring out a properly poached egg but we were almost done with our meals at that point.
Ambience was great! Ordered restaurant week menu. Desserts were spectacular. Beet salad and butternut squash veloute were very good. Salmon was just ok. Risottos were a little too salty. Wine selection was very good.
JD took great care of us during our visit on Thanksgiving. We had exceptional service and fantastic food. This was a great way to spend Thanksgiving!

This restaurant is not reflective of open table this whole dining experience was horrible. My food was not prepared properly the waitress offered to exchange the meal but the wait was unbearable. The dessert was so long in preparation that the waitress placed it in a takeout container. There was an extra charge for outside dining that was never fully explain by the restaurant manager. My experience was frightening based on the discourteous customer service. I have enjoyed my past experiences at the Cavalier hotel but my treatment on this occasion causes me pause on future engagements.
Seated on time of reservation, got water and over 30 minutes before served Amase. Kitchen must have been running as too awhile before getting dinner order in. For starters we both ordered the LUMP CRAB Dish, well when it was served I asked if we got the correct order as there was only wide noodles & NO LUMP CRAB . VERY disappointed so server brought us a bowl of small loose crab bits - never did see or taste any lump Crab meat. Noodles were tasty but dish overall- disappointing. My wife chose the Traditional Turkey dinner which was turkey roll sliced almost 1/2 inch thick and lacked of any flavour. Best part of dish was the Brussel Sprouts - disappointed Rock fish quite good (no lobster topping) must of been that bit of sauce on plate. Veggies were very hard and not appetising as about raw. Popovers were very good as normal, cocktails & wine very delicious. Visited by management and let know that generally we were overall disappointed with meal. The Caviler & Becca was decorated beautifully and staff, from reception, servers to valet all very professional.
We visited for Thanksgiving dinner and left disappointed, especially given the hotel's caliber. We were seated near a door to the garden, and it was freezing—definitely not the cozy holiday atmosphere we expected. The restaurant also seemed noticeably understaffed, which likely explains why food came out cold; it felt like dishes had been sitting for a while before reaching the table. Service was slow throughout, we waited a long time for drinks, and items didn't come out in the proper order. Our popovers arrived well after our appetizers, and even the amuse was completely bland. The prix fixe menu itself was hit-or-miss. The butternut squash soup was good, but the beet salad was uninspired, bland, and far too large for a pre-course portion. By the time entrées arrived (cold), we were already full. The turkey dinner was dry, and while the short rib had nice flavor, the plate needed more sweet potatoes to feel balanced. Dessert was the biggest letdown. One of the three options—the panna cotta—wasn't served because it “didn't set,” leaving us with two chocolate desserts and the holiday sampler. Unfortunately, all of them were underwhelming. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations for a holiday meal and for a restaurant in a hotel of this level.

Overall very good and we definitely enjoy d. However, the value was average as the price point pushed too much! Once extra items added such as drink's, sides, tip plus tax it was over $500 for three. We would not return for Thanksgiving.
Couldn't have asked for a better dining out thanksgiving experience. From the variety of dishes, the preparation and the great attitude of our server. My entire party loved the day!
