My crab cakes unfortunately had shells in them. After taking the rest of my meal to go, I noticed that my other crab cake had bigger shell pieces.
Making sure the shells are out is standard for any restaurant so a high end restaurant has no excuses.

Celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at Becca last Sunday, 15 Feb. Been coming here for years now on special occasions because it is a special place. It is our favorite restaurant in Tidewater. Showed up 10 min before our 12:30 reservation for 10 people. Was advised that they’ll be setting our table. Twenty min later, was told that there were still diners at our pre-arranged table in the Loggia (patio). Thirty min later, had to settle for a table in the main dining...
