Pleasant casual atmosphere. Very pricey for the amount of food You get. They charge 0.50 cents for a slider of lime in your water. I recommend to go to The Venezolano restaurant and pay less for more.

This is a great place to enjoy authentic Colombian food in the Virginia Beach area.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell they care about offering traditional flavors and a welcoming experience. The food is very tasty, well prepared, and reminds me of home. Portions are satisfying and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
One thing I really like is that it’s not just a restaurant, but also a small shop where you can find Colombian snacks, drinks, and other products that are sometimes hard to find in this area. It’s perfect if you’re craving something familiar or want to try new Colombian treats.
The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to explain the menu or make recommendations if you’re not sure what to order. Service is efficient, and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual, making it a good spot for both quick meals and relaxed visits.
Overall, this place is a wonderful option whether you’re Colombian, Latino, or just someone who enjoys good food. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Colombian cuisine in Virginia Beach

I had the rotisserie chicken. It was pretty dry. The staff was incredibly nice though and the restaurant is clean, spacious and nice. Maybe they had an off night. Other dishes might be great, but I haven't tried anything else.

The restaurant looks nice and clean. Although it took longer than expected for my food to be served, and I had to pay a take out fee on top of that. The price wasn’t what I thought it was going to be, especially considering the portion I received. The service wasn’t awful, and I think that the workers can speak English. The food was delicious, however some of the chicken pieces had a dark hue to it, though it could just be the seasoning. Overall, it’s only the wait and price that has me second guessing for another visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Little Piece of Colombia in VA Beach
If you’re Colombian (or just love real, soulful food), Bilu's Colombian Restaurant in VA Beach is an absolute must. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home—warm, welcoming, and full of corazón.
Shoutout to Camila, our server, because baby… she went above and beyond. Attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to make sure we had the best experience. That kind of service hits different.
Now let’s talk food, because whew 😮💨
We started with empanadas de pollo—crispy, flavorful, and perfect.
My son ordered the pargo marinado with a jugo de lulo en leche (chef’s kiss), and I had the carne en salsa criolla with a jugo de guanábana en leche that tasted exactly like back home. No shortcuts. No watered-down flavors. Just real Colombian goodness.
To finish strong, we had a cafesito en leche with pandebono, and honestly… I could’ve cried. That’s how authentic it was.
As if that wasn’t enough, we stopped by La Tiendita inside the restaurant and grabbed our favorites: Arequipe Alpina (porque obvio) and Manzana Postobón—our forever favorite soda. My son even picked up a Colombian national team jersey, which made the experience even more special.
We left full, happy, and already planning to come back for breakfast 😋
Bilu's isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a whole Colombian experience.
Gracias, Camila. Gracias, Bill’s. Nos vemos pronto. 🇨🇴❤️

I don’t know why it was slower on a Tuesday night but it shouldn’t be! Everything we had was delicious. The empanadas were crunchy on the outside with a delicious mix of potato filling on the inside. The cheese empanada was a particular favorite! I ordered the arroz con pollo. Delicious, the rice was seasoned well and the chicken was perfectly cooked! For three empanadas, a mango juice, and an entree that serves three meals? Worth $36. Our server was very knowledgeable and kind! Will be going back!

I love the coffee at this place, and the pan de bono is so delicious. The bakery has a great selection.

Good Colombian bakery got a small chocolate cake and some cheese bread they had a lot of selection from breads to sweet treats to coffee and drinks. Colombian wife approved! We also ate at the restaurant directly connected to it where you can get full meals or sit at the bar for a beer.
A lot of seating and tvs to watch games.

We were hoping to enjoy good Colombian food, but the overall experience was very poor. The restaurant has great potential, but it seriously needs to focus on elevating the quality of the ingredients and the flavor of its dishes, in addition to investing in improving the atmosphere and customer service.
