When we visit VA Beach this is a must for us. Unfortunately, our last experience was rushed by the rude older lady that is a regular there. ( her husband is my hero) Management was informed, took the matter seriously. If she wasn't there , this place is a 5 star place. Our waitress was working the bar and a couple tables and she was excellent. I forgot her name, she works weekends. She's very friendly and has a great personality. Place is small, food comes out quickly and done correctly.

DIDN'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS for pickup time so it cut into my date night!! I told the man who answered the phone that i had received a gift card and was having trouble entering it online. So I would pay when I arrived. I arrive when i said, which was an hour later to no food at all. The place was empty on a Friday night. We finally figured out the gift card and then I was waiting for food. I am told by the young man who is a greeter that they were worried about the gift card so they waited to start my food!!!! I was late to my date night and so it was cut short because of the limited time I had.
The food was not worth the price. Me and my husband both ordered steak which we agreed lacked flavor but was very tender. The she crab soup was the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. The boiled crab cake was the best thing I had on my plate.
Very disappointed with the service and food. Also the fact that they they cut into my very needed date night . Will never return.

All staff members were may beyond pleasant and very attentive especially our waitress. Lovely atmosphere, intimate, and very comfortable seating.

This small, cute restaurant in a strip mall initially asked if we had reservations, but luckily because it wasn’t busy we didn’t need one and we we were sat right away. However, it took a good 10-15 minutes for the server to return and take our order. Despite the small size of the place, she was handling all the tables and the small bar alone. A regular customer arrived about 10 minutes after us and she promptly brought his beer and took his order before coming to our table.
The steak and meatloaf were mediocre. It seemed more of a place for wealthy individuals to enjoy wine and engage in loud conversations about themselves. If you’re seeking a quiet and romantic atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend this place. And as for the food, there are many, many better restaurants in Hampton Roads.

Great experience here starting at the front door!
I was greeted, but my seven month old baby was too!
Appetizer (calamari) was a generous portion and done just right.
Our main dishes were great too! The prime rib was cooked to my specification and my wife’s crab cake had plenty of crab in it (with the right amount of binding).

Amazing atmosphere and the food was to die for. The owner was extremely kind and made himself known to every table! Definitely a must got if you are in Virginia Beach!!!
