Our visit was a special occasion. It was Saint Patrick's Day, and they were in full celebration. They had music to fill the air with a festive atmosphere.What was different about St. Patrick's Day for them, was they did away with their normal menu, and had a buffet style set up. The buffet treated us to delicious brisket, fried chicken, waffles, mashed potatoes, fruits, and cookies ?. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to.It's also worth saying that the atmosphere of the place was very cool. Their restaurant sits just above the water, so eating next to the window can make you feel like you're floating. When you're done eating, you're also free to walk around outside and over to their dock set back into the trees. I didn't go at night, but they had lights strung up about the place. Leaving me with a sense of wonderment on how this place could look late when the lights shimmering over the water.

I tried this place 3 times, and all 3 have failed me. The first time was during restaurant week. The fish I got was tasteless, but I decided to come back for another try. Second time we came was during August. Fish I ordered was good, but the fries I ordered with it were inedible. I gave up coming for dinner, and we heard brunch was good, so tried one more time Sunday. The Brunch menu scans were on all the tables and out front. So we looked and decided to wait (longer than quoted) for a table. We saw a buffet but all decided we preferred the brunch menu. Our server then informed us then that it was buffet only. Pretty frustrated, as no one at the front had informed us. We regrettably stayed for the buffet. Many items had plaques but no food (bacon, French toast, brisket). The omelet chef deserved all the accolades as he was working harder than everyone there combined. The food that was available was tasty. I left frustrated and upset, and we say good riddance because the only thing Blue Pete's has going for it is the venue. Service is not great, and offerings poor. Would not recommend.

This place was amazing. The crab dip was awesome. I got the mahi imperial it was phenomenal. The Mac and cheese was good. I got fries smothered in she crab soup So good.
Great atmosphere and the service was good. I got the hot honey chicken biscuit and it was delicious. The water tastes very irony and my cup was dirty, but other than that my experience was good.

This is not a good family restaurant. However it is a neighborhood bar with a lot of loud talking. The food is just as bad. Not to mention the water, they need to use bottle water for serving the customer's that actually go there to eat. We will not be going back.
