We had dinner again this evening for a friend's birthday and it was amazing as always. The guys really enjoy Charles' Bourbon selection. Our food was amazing and our waitress was top notch.

The wait was reasonable for how busy the restaurant was. Upon being seated, service was quick and accurate. The restaurant was a bit loud, but reasonably so due to size. The food was very good. I had the Oscar Salmon while my daughter had chicken. Dinner portions seemed on the smaller side, but dessert was pretty large in comparison. I would probably eat here again.

Had dinner here recently with my wife. It's about our fourth time eating here in the past few years. The past meals had been good (not great), so we decided to try it again since it's become so popular on Yelp lately.
To start the service wasn't very good. Our server seemed to rush when talking with us and didn't make much eye contact. I used to wait tables (even was a trainer) and was surprised how disconnected our server was. The "chef" was visible in the dining area the entire time and even dropped off something to try. Unfortunately it was just covered in cheese and not very appetizing.
The food took about 45 minutes and it was overcooked. I had the broiled scallops and they were so overcooked that were shriveled up and sitting on a dry plate!
We were there for just over an hour and the "chef" was in the dining area at least 45-50 minutes. The "chef" seems more worried about the front of the restaurant instead of the kitchen and it shows. Not at anytime did anyone check to see how our meals were.
Sorry, but there is much better restaurants in the area that offer quality dishes for a better price.

As a New Englander, i don't venture into the seafood world in VA Beach. A friend highly recommended Blue, and to say we were mind blown would be an understatement. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing. Sweetly greeted by who I am assuming is a manager or the owner. We opted to sit at the bar, and i will seriously come anytime Bridgette is behind the bar. The upbeat personality, the sweet conversation, and the knowledge was very impressive. I enjoy going to dinner and getting the whole experience, and Blues did not disappoint. We will be back 💗

Went for my birthday last night. Food cooked perfectly. And came out fast when we were able to finally order. Our server lacked common sense, but I did enjoy the food and my cocktail and the hostesses were on point.

Always excellent! The food and service are top noth. You can't go wrong if you are looking for fresh seafood.

Everything was amazing from the starters to the dessert. The staff is down to earth and kind. I see why it's ranked one of the top seafood restaurants in the US
I will definitely be back!!

We tried this restaurant based on a local woman’s recommendation. It was absolutely the best restaurant! Atmosphere, service, food quality were outstanding. Definitely going back next year

It was my Birthday. I wanted seafood. We had passed by this place a few times and I figured we would give it a try. Greeted at the door, very pleasant. Told to sit anywhere (3 tables were available) It was about 5pm on a Wed. The waitress introduced herself right away and took our drink orders. The service was so good, I tipped 75% of the bill. The food.... I was a chef and I can say that the food was beyond perfect. The flavors were amazing. The Chef knows what he is doing . The fact that the food was perfection and the service beyond reproach makes me not care too much about the portion sizes. If you are a Big eater, you will not leave full but, it is well worth it. Dont get me wrong, the meals were a good size for an average eater. I did not try the dessert because my wife had a cake for me at home but, next time. I Highly Recommend Blue!!

This was our first time at Blue and we were there to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The chef was very attentive, the server was great and the food was excellent. Drinks were great and very reasonably priced. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese as an appetizer was great. The scallops were excellent. We took home the key lime pie and it didn't last through the night lol. Can't wait til the next time my Mother In Law visits so we can take her to Blue.
