Absolutely loved this place. A little hole in the wall that blows you away. Food was served hot and delicious. Breakfast potatoes made to perfection and sourdough freshly baked. I recommend the omelette but honestly their whole menu looked tasty. Will be coming again and recommending to others!!

It's always a pleasure to visit the bread box!! Food is always fresh and made with love! Esma is such a wonderful lady and makes everyone feel so welcome.

Almost felt like I should turn around when the lady greeted us at the front. Very dry and unwelcoming. However when one of the regulars came in she was very sweet in telling them she would clean their regular table off in the back. The waitress was very sweet best part of the restaurant. Food was decent but portions are small and the value is just really not worth it. Strawberries looked unwashed and bananas were clearly bruised. No child kids meals which is usually fine because portions are usually enough to share a little with him but not this time. Maybe we will try back in a few months and see how it goes.

All of the food was amazing! It was so difficult to choose from all the great options on the menu, but we ate off each other's plates and then grabbed a peanut butter cup shake and cookies to go. Best shake of my life!

This tucked away café is quite the hidden gem on Virginia Beach Blvd. The food options are delectable and interesting, to say the least. You have your choice of, I would call American gorge eating to healthier options if you so choose to do so. I had the Rueben with homemade chips. The size of the sandwich was bigger than I thought. The homemade chips were truly homemade. Soft with a crisp bite to them.
I recommend this place for either a Sunday breakfast/lunch spot or, if you have the time, a week day with the same options available.
Parking: Depends on how busy the other shops are, in the same locale, at the time of your visit.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available, and kid menu options are available, as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is an access slope on the curb close by, and it is one story.

We went to Ezma's Breadbox for the first time today and it was absolutely lovely! All of the staff was incredibly kind to us and kept a good balance of checking in when needed but not stopping by every few minutes. We got the portabello mushroom sandwich with fries, and the salmon sandwich with chips. The chips and fries were amazing, hot and seasoned well. Both of the sandwiches were incredible as well. We especially loved the Focaccia bread used for the mushroom sandwich. Feels very homey, like having lunch at a beloved relatives house. I liked that even off the boulevard, it felt quite and tucked away. We will definitely be returning many times over.

Saw this place online and decided to give it a try! The food was delicious! Service was good, and this place had a very Kozy atmosphere very nice small Cafe! Would definitely recommend Bread Box Cafe! Cany wait to try it again!

Googled “sandwich place” this cute place came up while visiting my family from out of town and it was great. Large portions so you get your money’s worth. Fresh food and good tasting homemade bread. Nice staff. Shout out to the cooks! Glad I found this place. Homemade chips!

What a GREAT place to eat! Quality food menu and a truly warm and friendly wait staff. Their 1/2 club sandwich with a cup of their mushroom soup will put a big smile on your face and make you forget about dinner! I like the small homey feeling when my wife and I have the opportunity to dine there. Their home style breads are truly old world. Enjoy all about Ezma’s!
