I used to go to this place for there pastrami. Lately there pastrami has been less flavorful and tough. Not sure what happened but at least there bagel sandwiches are good.
unfortunately this is a sad excuse for bagels. my husband and i have been coming here for over 4 years and the quality has gone downhill. i ordered a pigtown on everything bagel and what i got was an underbaked soggy bagel with rotten lettuce and eggs which not to mention i always order the pigtown because it comes with NO eggs since i have an egg allergy. it sucks to see what use to be a great breakfast spot is no longer there.
Really disappointed. I had a Taylor, egg, and cheese bagel. 1/2 the bagel had no Taylor ham and the other 1/2 had one slice folded over in the egg. 180° from the 1st time was in here. I didnt say anything because they were swamped with orders, it has slowed down and I will mention this. I did talk to the them. They said 4 pieces. Had 1. Really disappointed!! And I love this place. Now dont know if I'll come back

I was so happy that they had hot garlic bagels but unfortunately they didn't have any fresh garlic on them only garlic powder. I don't think they do that in Brooklyn. 😥
We have been loyal customers for years, but decided today we are done. The quality and value continues to decrease. Often times early in morning, there is an extremely limited selection of bagels, such as two plain and a handful of jalapeño bagels on the shelf. Specialty cream cheese costs $1 extra and then this is what you get (see attached picture). I paid $1 to use the cream cheese from my fridge to make up for the lack of it on my bagel this morning.
The bagel store “around the corner” offers a better experience and better value. Reading the review responses from the owner, bring on the rebuttal shirking all responsibility for how the value and quality continue go down at Brooklyn Bagels.
As a native New Yorker I love the concept and supported after being disappointed because “spread love it’s the Brooklyn way” but today is my last. Tuesday morning at 7:45am and no fresh bagels, no bagel inventory, no one working the grill. What a disappointment. This place is no longer worth the drive to RedMill.
We went to Brooklyn Bagels on a Sunday morning around 11:00am. They were out of every type of bagel except three. There was no coffee made. They were out of egg salad. My husband did not recieve the flavor of bagel he ordered. The 'butter' (cheap margarine?) spread on my bagel tasted terrible and left a film in my mouth. I asked if there was a manager there, the answer was no. We have been there before and it was ok, but after this visit we will not be returning. DO BETTER!
I’d rather go to Brooklyn. Probably would get my bagels faster !
Not worth the wait. Under staffed on a weekend . Bunch of people coming back with errors on orders. I’m yet to see someone walking out with a smile on their face ! Most muttering not very nice words.
Ridiculous
Bagels were delicuous. I got a cinnamon french toast bagel sandwich. It took about 10 minutes to make. They had a huge variety of bagels

NJ transplant approved! Whenever I’m southside I always have to stop for the absolutely bonkers delicious bagels, pastrami, and homemade cream cheese. Absolutely delicious food that is very authentic to NY!

Incredible sandwiches! The bagels are always fresh because they are always busy. Our favorite place to stop for a quick morning breakfast.

Kinda mid tbh. They put my order on the wrong bagel 2 times, and also put my girlfriend’s order on the wrong bagel. Wouldn’t have minded if it was cheaper, but for $20ish per bagel sandwich I would have hoped for better.
Best bagels ever

Best bagel place in all of Hampton Roads. Tastes just like ones back in New Jersey where I'm from. They have such a great variety.
