Great food and great service!

The seafood here was delicious. You order and pay before you sit, just a heads up. Don't let that stop you from trying it out. This place is good for a lunch date and I would recommend for family dine in and take out

This place looks like it’s ready to close down. No customers in the restaurant. I’ve been to Bubba’s in Yorktown and it’s great. The food I ordered today from the Virginia Beach location was very salty. The shrimp batter was very salty and so were the hush puppies. I had to throw it out. The only thing that was good was the coleslaw. Don’t waste your time and money eating here.

Hi, just wanted to say quickly been here a few times. The service is always polite and good which is a BIG plus for me and it is clean inside another BIG one for me. Food overpriced well for the amount, that’s my only complaint. Oh my grilled shrimp was over season but they got the 1st two big ones so, I’ll be back and the fish, was good.

Although you need patience with larger parties, the wait is well worth it. The she-crab soup rivals any fine-dining establishment, and the hush puppies are the best I've tasted anywhere.

She crab soup- good wish there was more crab meat. I order the bowl looks like a cup!
Even the slaw was good and I normally don’t care for other restaurants slaw. Like I said take out but I saw how cool it was and parking was plenty so they 4 star for that.

I remember seeing this establishment when I was over in the plaza it's located in. I decided to try it out... Ordered the shrimp and flounder basket with okra/sweet potatoe fries. I really wouldn't say the price point is justified by the portions, but it's ok. The food was good, just not really flavorful/seasoned. I did appreciate that there wasn't the usual thick layer of breading on the fish or okra. The staff (at least the one I interacted with) was pleasant and courteous. I may try them on another occasion to see if I have a different experience.

Some girlfriends and I came her to try it out because we heard it was good.... At its the TRUTH!! The people at the ordering counter were so nice and answered all our questions. Ordering was easy and their prices are really good. Especially for all the food you get.

EVERY one of us had different kinds of dishes and we all loved it. I got the smaller sized "Fish (Flounder) & chips"... It was under $10 and there was a lot of food! I could barely finish it all. I'm glad I got the small size! My friends got the shrimp basket, crab cakes, and catfish dinners and everyone had to take over 2/3rd of it home there was so much. Great atmosphere and service and the food was PERFECTLY cooked!

Catfish was ok not really flavorful, carrot cake was very hard almost like it was stale or in the fridge for a long time. And the Mac and cheese was horrible no flavor very cheesy though almost like cheese was poured over it not baked in it. First and last time there.

The breading is very light and crispy and not greasy. The flavor was excellent! I got the catfish sandwich, and it was amazing! Probably the best fried catfish I've ever had. The fries and okra were also delicious. The bathroom is also very clean.

First time trying Bubba's Shrimp Shack and it was a delicious treat. Everything was perfect from the service to the food. I also like the decor. It is a nice and clean establishment. I will definitely be back when out this way.
