While I've had the tarragon chicken salad and loved it immensely, today I decided on two of the soups Chef Doug had created today: the broccoli and avocado soup and the chicken tortilla soup. I couldn't decide so Chef Doug allowed me to try both and much to my surprise, I got both. No matter what Chef Doug is making on any particular day, you can't beat Cafe 67 for natural and locally grown foods; I have yet to find anything I don't like!

Nice views. Great Lentil soup. Pleasant environment. Variety of rooms to enjoy your meal. Seems like a new age menu with healthful foods including sandwiches, smoothies, infused water, daily soups, etc.

Surprisingly small cafe space with an upbeat crew of staff, and the lunch was superb! My first vegi burger and I was disappointed that I only ordered a half and not the whole thing! Yum! Actually the best sandwich I had in Virginia Beach. We sat on the porch area over looking the grounds, with the ocean in the distance - great to relax and take in the fanatic view.

What a find! Not only is it fun and interesting to go to Edgar Cayce's A.R.E., but now there is a gem of a lunch spot in the spa building. Cafe 67 has something for everyone. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find anything you like, the menu is diverse and delicious.

It seems the No. 1 question on friends mind is where can I find the combination of great food with a splash of scenery. I stumbled on a new cafe and it has a window with a water view.

Chef Doug always has something I love on his menu! Amazing soups, creative salads and tacos, and more. Always served with a smile... and you can't beat the view from the porch! Spectacular.

It seems the No. 1 question on friends mind is where can I find the combination of great food with a splash of scenery. I stumbled on a new cafe and it has a window with a water view. Chef Greg Cooperman opened Cafe 67 in late Fall 2017 to no fanfare. Now through nothing more than word of mouth his tiny cafe is budding. With warmer weather and tourist season upon us I look for them to pick up. The location is in the Edgar Cayce Complex Annex on top of the hill. Parking is in their main lot. I found the area clear of debris. The restaurant is located on the first floor rear. Seating is in the front with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is also overflow seating. Everything was spic and span. Menus are at the counter and a specials board is updated daily. Food is ordered at the counter and brought to you. The cashier Tracy was very helpful in my selection and friendly the entire time making me feel welcome. Chef Greg is operating a farm to table operation out of the Edgar Cayce building at the top of the hill on the first floor. He is sourcing as much local as possible. After talking with him about how clean his food operation is I could not help but be impressed. Their menu has sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees and wine. Even tacos can be found for taco Tuesday. My order the 67th Veggie Burger / chick pea, walnut, quinoa, beets, roast garlic, chia, black garlic aioli, avocado, tomato & greens on pita. Fresh and bursting with flavor. Side of feta salad. Paired w/ a Papaya Watermelon infused water. The veggie burger is a recent add to the menu and has got a phenomenal response per Tracy. I thought it was a winner and the salad too! Both the chef and cashier Tracy touched my table to ask how everything was. Their model is set up where this is challenging and I appreciated it. I especially enjoyed an extended conversation with the chef to learn more about his philosophy and the business. Chef Cooperman is available as a personal chef, caterer, cooking demos, hands on culinary experiences & education.. You can find all his info on his personal website. His motto "my love of cuisines of the world is paralleled only by my desire to share it with others" It was a pleasure meeting you Chef and thank you for sharing your passion of food with me. I promise to not be a stranger and will spread the good word of your gem of a cafe.
