Cute little cafe with cozy and charming atmosphere.
Coffee and breakfast sandwich was good.

However a lot of their breakfast items had already been sold or the kitchen was out of some supplies by 11am. We ended with just a few options to choose from.

This is the cutest little place with the friendliest owner! Had a great time at an after hours event hosted here. There's not a lot of parking, and I did have a bit of trouble with the bathroom door lock, but neither took away from the experience.

I really wanted to like this place. But it was so so. My ordered afternoon tea was already on the table before I got there, so food was cold. The finger sandwiches, advertised as cucumber turned out to be tomatoes. My guest doesn’t like tomatoes. The pasties were nothing great. Needed to heat some of them. So that was disappointing. Since it was tea for two I expected we each get a pot to choose our flavor but only one came to share. The people are nice and service was pleasant tho and the macaroons were tasty. But it was a bust, in my opinion, for the almost $100 I spent.

A beautiful historic home transformed into a quaint French patisserie with delicious beverages, yummy sweets and pastries and sandwiches. Wish the staff would greet diners with “Bonjour” or “Merci” as a way to enhance the French ambiance. This was my second visit.
Merci.

Cafe Genevieve is a delightful find. My wife and I dropped in for a late breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the food and quaint ambiance. We sipped mimosas while savoring a delicious avocado toast served on a croissant (the best we've ever eaten) and a wonderful Quiche Lorraine. The flavors were sumptuous. The display case featuring their desserts was so tempting. We'll be back and will certainly tell our friends to visit Cage Genevieve as well.

Charming little coffee house that's big on charm and Flavor. We ordered :
Cafe au last
Brown sugar shaken expresso
Quiche Lorraine
Pistachio Croissant
Everything was awesome. The service was exceptional. They got very busy as soon as we arrived at 9am but handled everyone like a pro. The house has seating for about 14 inside, a special event space and tables outside under the trees. We chose the issue air. Our first time and an Amazing time . We will return.

We went there with four people, they were out of a lot. We went there at 10 they yelled at my mom for getting a French press. they were out of ham and croissant. so we got this grilled cheese thing with ham and cheese and the cheese made me throw up. Three people ate that sandwich grilled cheese thing. And it made us. Uneasy.

What a charming cafe! I had a latte and spinach ricotta croissant, both delicious, and took some macarons home. WOW these were the best macarons I’ve ever had. The flavors were wonderful and not bland at all, and the texture was perfect. My favorites were the lavender vanilla and pistachio. C’est magnifique!

A great little place. Nice outdoor space. My daughter and I stopped in an hour before closing. I had a doppio espresso and daughter had the almond croissant and La Vie en Rose drink. Definitely 5 stars. Service was great as well. We will be back:)

I've always loved this shop and used to come all the time when it was in downtown Norfolk. Im super excited she opened up closer to me and I jist had to come in here and rave about the macarons. I used to get the coffee or earl Grey all the time and those were my favorite but this summer ive gotten to try pistachio, chai vanilla, and oh my gosh THE STRAWBERRY YUM. Even the salted caramel is just so amazing. I only came in for one or two and im having a hard time not finishing the whole 6 pack on the way home. I didnt plan to branch out and try new flavors today but im super glad I did. You're missing out if not trying this spot truly.

This is possibly the greatest little coffee shop I've found in Virginia Beach! Amazing building with historic, quaint, and old-school posh vibes. The coffee is spectacular, the food is amazing (MUST try the avocado toast!!), and the staff and company are top notch!
Definitely try it out and see for yourself!!!

I ordered macaroons for a bridal shower, and not only were they beautifully done, but every flavor was delicious. I exchanged emails with them about the order, and it was timely and friendly. The macaroons were a huge hit at the party. When I picked them up, I grabbed a coffee and chocolate croissants, and they too were great. The cafe is adorable, and the customer service was 5 star. I plan to go back often!
