poor service, poor timeliness of food service, just don't go!

Awful customer service. Don't answer the phone saying, "Hold on, I won't be able to hear you". Extremely unprofessional. Do better. people don't come on vacation to put up with you or any other businesses lack of respect.

Food is average and likely won't visit again. Cute spot that's on the water but that's about it. Live music can get pretty loud so if you're looking to chat during dinner, be prepared to be yelling at one another to hear.

Visiting in from out of town. Bartender advised us to sit anywhere and server will greet us shortly. My mother and I waited 10 minutes before we got greeted, watching the other tables that came in AFTER us get their drinks. I flagged down a server and she said someone forgot about us and she would be happy to help. Our “new” server barely checked in on us, sat with empty drinks for 10-15 minutes at a time, she forgot to put in one of our appetizers. We were going to order entrees but decided to leave a go elsewhere. The next spot we went to was attentive and on top of it with service! I will never come back here to calypso

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant on the beach. Service was superb. My creamy crab soup and crab cake sandwich were delicious. The ambiance was great with live music that played the best oldies.

Not worth coming to unless you are planning to get incredibly drunk. Food is horrible and tastes like it has been frozen for months. Shrimp is rubbery and the broccoli is even moreso. The oysters are poorly cleaned. The vegetables that come with the hummus are dry and the hummus itself is awful. The prices are sky high; $17 for 10 wings is ridiculous. Do not visit.

I went here on ladies night and it was such a great vibe and wonderful energy. The servers were all so sweet and amazing!
It was a great time with the happy hour drinks and small plates! Would definitely recommend for a girls night out! I got the calamari and the potstickers for the small plates and they were good as well.

Parking: There’s a gravel/dirt parking lot right around the corner from the restaurant. Easily accessible!

Located right on the ocean. Has always been one of my favorite places to attend. Incredible hardworking staff. The entertainment is top notch. Seating is plentiful and if you get there in the evening you get an incredible view on the water. 10/10 would always recommend Calypso as a must go for any night they are open.

Unfortunately this Halloweekend, Calypso decided to charge a $10 cover for everyone ALREADY in the bar prior to the cover charge being required. The chairs weren’t filled, our tabs included more than the cover was worth, and they still asked us to pay. We left due to this unreasonable and frankly rude request. We’re disappointed that a favorite bar of our’s decided to do this, something they don’t do on any regular weekend night, always more packed than tonight (10/26/24).

Went here for my mother’s birthday and the food was luke warm like it had been sitting out and then microwaved for 10 seconds before it was served. The only hot fresh food was the broccoli and potatoes. Also, my mother has been on the toilet all evening after leaving here.

Keep an eye out. Almost got ripped off in bar by a couple. They seemed to know the the bar tenders. I could be wrong but it was a weird experience.
