Tried this places for the first time. Would absolutely make a reservation ahead of time. Food was excellent!! Ordered the queso and chips - wonderful! Very small tiny tiny tacos...but generous with rice and beans. Burrito was good for one person only so glad we ordered the flautitas to accompany. Got the house margarita...glasses were not filled to the rim...for $11 each disappointing. We waited long periods of time for our server to bring drinks and for the check. Tried to get her attention several times. Total for 2 adults and a kid...$90!!! Would go again, but only for happy hour!!!

From being greeted to our server Jorge, everything was top notch. The food came out quickly and was delicious! (I personally can recommend the fajita steak burrito- loved the cheese it was smothered in)

Food is mediocre. Lacking flavor. Low poor quality food and very high prices. You can tell they sacrifice food quality to make more money. Won't be going back. We had a large party and only one persons dinner was adequate.

The food was very flavorful and you could tell that every item was made with fresh ingredients—the tortillas were homemade and came straight from the pan, guacamole made from scratch right in front of you, and all dips were freshly blended! Our server, Angie, was a complete doll that added to our amazing first experience with Cantina Laredo!

Service poor. Had to wait long time for drinks. Waitress Taylor never asked us for drinks we had to call her. Very inattentive. Would not return to this location.

Very poor service overall. We were seated and no one came to take drinks or even acknowledged us. After 15 minutes I went to the front and asked if someone could take our order.. took another 5+ minutes before that happened.. the place was about half full but took almost an hour for our food to come out. My wife got one of their burritos and I got a chicken dish.. both meals were cold . We ended up getting to go boxes and left and had an actual hot meal at Bravo's Italian restaurant across the street.. Will not go back to Cantina Laredo.. not worth the money

Our server made several recommendations on food, and every recommendation was flavorful and exceeded expectations. The margaritas were delish - pineapple especially :)

We had a reservation for 5:45pm but weren't seated until almost 7pm. They "overbooked reservations." Not acceptable. Good thing the food was excellent.

Opentable Diner

I reserved a high top and was told there wasn't one so they kept insisting on us to sit outside because high tops were there. They weren't so they gave us a table. The entire staff seemed like they were annoyed from the moment we walked through the door except for one sweet older lady. The food was great the chefs in the back y'all deserve to be in the front with how excellent the food was.

Opentable Diner

Nice experience, good location, good service. Reserved high top but got standard seating. Poor food, there's many many cheap Mexican restaurants with much better food in the area. Overall food still ok but not top tier like you're paying

The service was fantastic. Their white salsa was some of the best I've had in the area. The chips & reg salsa were good, but both were lacking salt. I got a combination plate & everything was good the chicken enchilada was fantastic. My husband got the fish tacos & he wasn't impressed, but they were Mahi & he typically prefers a milder fish. Not our first visit & we will go back.

My experience was surprisingly bad. On normal circumstances, I would give a five star on all counts. My wife and I have been going here for years and have had great service and food which is why I chose this venue for my wife’s 55th birthday and it was awful. We had a party of 12 and had no problem setting the reservations but when we arrived, the two waitresses were terrible. One was a trainee. I don’t understand why they had a trainee for a large birthday party. Many of the entrées were wrong or prepared incorrectly. Things that were supposed to be raw were cooked. things that were supposed to be cooked were raw. we had to find our waitresses when we needed water or other items. It’s not this level service that I’m used to at Cantina Laredo. Very disappointed. My wife and I have been going there for years and we’re really surprised the poor level of service we received. Maybe they’re just better with small groups.

Very Good Modern Mexican! We were greeted cheerfully at the door and taken directly to a table with a street view. Our server, Angie P was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable of the menu. She made several great recommendations.
The salsa is some of the best that I’ve ever had. The chips are served warm and fresh. I ordered off of the vegetarian menu and had the Impossible Bowl. Nice flavor and very good portion. We finished the meal with Mexican Apple Pie. AMAZING! It sizzles, it steams, it smells delicious. You have to try it.
I applaud Cantina Laredo for having a separate vegetarian menu. Many times when I eat in a Mexican restaurant, I’m stuck with vegetable fajitas or I have to ask them to alter the dish.
