Came here for the first time, I ordered a chicken shawarma gyro I waited over 52 minutes just for gyro and fries, I couldn’t believe the wait time just for a gyro. The taste was not chicken shawarma the chicken had no seasoning or taste. The food was 1/5 not happy. The price was over price for service and quality.

Delicious food and clean restaurant. The staff was helpful and me/family enjoyed the food our first night in town after traveling. The best thing about this restaurant is that there was something for everyone.
We stopped while visiting the beachfront on our Big 2022 Road Trip. We were seeking a place serving ample amounts of tasty and affordable food, and this place fit our needs exactly. Very happy to meet the gang and have a nice lunch here.

FRAUDSTERS!Received a receipt with "18 Street Grill" as the business name. Credit Card was charged MORE than what's indicated on the receipt under "Charlie's Cafe."As if the fraud isn't bad enough, the food was mediocre at best. Grossly overpriced for sub-par food with sub-par portion sizes.AVOID THIS PLACE.

Warning - DO NOT waste your money on food that is mediocre- the food was expensive and overpriced for quality and serving size.We were so excited when we saw on a menu that they have Grilled Chicken Salad. My sister doesn’t eat meat so we asked if we could substitute it veggie burger. He said yes so we agreed we assumed that instead of grilled chicken they would just substitute it with veggie burger. He charged us an an extra $3.00 for it. The food took a long time to serve it to us. Finally, when the food was ready. The salad we got was a tiny salad with nothing but romaine lettuce, 3 pcs. tomato and couple pieces of dice onions with no salad dressing. The cost of the salad with the veggie burger was $18.00 for basically a side salad fitting in a small plastic red basket with parchment paper.When I mentioned it the manager or cashier how disappointed we are with the food. He was very dismissive and doesn’t seem to care.There is a sign there is “ no refund” so there is nothing we could do but eat this salad we paid $18.00 for. When you see a sign that says “No Refund” be warn there is a reason why they have a sign - their food quality and the portions are below standard. We left the restaurant after paying $57.00 still hungry.A vacation nearly ruined because of this experience. What a rip off. The food is extremely disappointing.Never going back there again if and when we go back to Va Beach.

The staff were very welcoming. The place was clean. And the food was great especially the lamb gyro! Make sure to get lettuce onion tomato and the gyro sauce with it!!!
