Chicho's Pizza 11th Street

I definitely won't eat at this place again, such a mediocre meal for almost $75! We ordered a pizza and it looked like a frozen dollar tree for $17! Some drier wings, with failed celery, a fish breaded with french fries that you were those black potatoes and with the smell of old oil! What a shame...

Beware. Got put on the wait list, and was told 15 minutes. Waited over an hour and 30 minutes and still no text. Place was nearly empty as well.

Skip it. Just skip it. Food was not good. Chicken sandwich was so tough I could barely chew it. Server was horrible. She never came back to check on us till it was time for the check. No refills. They charge a mandatory gratuity, make sure your servers are actually doing an 18% job not a 5% won't be back

Our young male server was not happy tonight.We ordered a pizza with garlic spread, no sauce.Was on the pizza.The attitude of our server was less than pleasing,,,, i have been to many. Chichos locations throughout Chesapeake in Virginia Beach. But this one really hit home. I had company with me and boasted about the pizza here. And we were both let down,,,,, if this is.
The attitude ofor host or sever.If you don't like your job that much maybe you need to find a new line of work,,,, very upset and very upset with the young male host,,,,, the young woman serving us sincerely tried to make it right... by getting us a new pizza and that was shot down,, my friend also says that our host said.
Something unpleasant under his breath,,,, my apologies on this attack but then again,,,, it is what it is.... Didn't even take the leftover pizza with us

SERVICE IS AWFUL!! We were seated promptly upon arrival; however, we waited nearly 30 minutes without being acknowledged by any staff. Several servers passed by our table multiple times without checking in or inquiring if we had been assisted. We were both hungry and thirsty, and the lack of attention made us feel overlooked. Ultimately, we decided to leave, as there was no indication of when our order might be taken. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially given the number of other establishments nearby that offer both good food and attentive service.

Terrible service waited over a hour for food! Told us we could not make changes to an order and that we didn’t order it the way that we did. Ask for a manager and she was no help. Staff standing around laughing and playing. Do not go here!

We are staying at the Hampton Inn that the restaurant is connected to, and it was so convenient to have this restaurant here and not have to drive in holiday beach traffic after checking in. As previous reviewers mentioned, we did seem to wait a while for our food and drinks, but it was July 4th. I got a sense that the kitchen might be understaffed or maybe just overwhelmed that day. We were not in a hurry. We enjoyed the view of the boardwalk and the beach. I appreciated that there were mocktails on the menu; I had the Uber lemonade, which was really good (and purple!). My husband got the lemon pepper wings, which he said tasted good but were too salty. I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad. My grilled chicken was more like blackened chicken and it was not tossed in buffalo sauce, but I actually liked it better this way! It went great with the Bleu cheese crumbles and the Bleu cheese dressing was chunky and not runny. The vegetables were fresh. The whole thing just hit the spot. And oh my gosh, they have Nightingale gourmet ice cream sandwiches from Richmond! We each got one. So delicious! Our server Caitlin was attentive, very sweet and efficient. We're staying here in the hotel for a few days, so we may go back.

Average at best.
Walked in during a very slow time i.e no more than a handful of tables, more than enough staff to cover ANYTHING that came in... Waited a very awkward almost 10 minutes to be seated AFTER being greeted during which a handful of servers stood around talking and looking at us.
Food was okay... Not horrible, but not something I would seek out.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. IT IS A HOLE IN THE EARTH!
The young blonde waitress that we had was horrible. she was asked if one of the meals comes on a roll or a wrap because it didn’t specify on the menu and she didn’t know the answer she had to go and check. She did not know the menu. Really?!?!?!! You work there!! we asked for mozzarella sticks and she says they’re not on the menu which they are because we pointed it out to her. They don’t even know what they’re serving there. Including our table, there were only Three other tables that were in the entire restaurant and After 45 minutes of no food, we went the bartender who had long black hair and glasses. She was EXTREMELY rude Making up excuses. Inexcusable! One of the guys there who had short curly hair or messed up hair was helping her bring out food and his hands were all up his shirt, wiping his face and in his pants etc, It was just disgusting. I am a server myself and this is An Absolute disgrace this place.
oh and I asked for cheesy bread and they brought me a freaking cheese pizza that was saltier than the ocean. My Entrée was never brought probably never even put in the system from that waitress and Neither did our appetizers.!!! Please save yourselves for a better restaurant. We will not be going back ever and spreading the word.
And to mention, they automatically put an 18% tip on there when the waitress never came back to see how we were doing either. How is the food, Nothing. I tip on service as she deserves nothing the whole place deserves nothing.!!!

Service was awful! We were a party of 7 and were seated immediately. It was not crowded at all and we waited over 45 min for our food. Our order was placed at 7:15 with 2 appetizers. The appetizers never came out even after asking twice. After 40 min of waiting, and not seeing our waitress, we went to the bartender/manager to ask about our food. We were told the online orders were taking priority! She was actually quite rude about it. When our food finally came out, the chili was burnt and one of entrees was missing. Note that you are charged 18% gratuity and a service fee. This might explain the lack of service. I would not recommend this place!

Friday night pizza & beers for dinner, no complaints, leftovers were perfect for a late night snack. Went Sunday at lunch for a mid-concert break, service was almost non-existent. Lots of other tables waiting to order, waiting to pay. Waited nearly an hour for our pizza, dining room wasn't full. Very unhappy at the automatic tip, wasn't earned.

Good place for a quick bite along the beach. Pizza and Appetizers were good. Service can be a little slow but overall it has a nice vibe. They do charge an automatic tip which is a little deceiving.
