My chicken including the fries were reheated and not fresh. I repeatedly asked how much it cost and while asking, the lady took my credit card and swipped without my permission.

Food is good but service could definitely be much better and I'm not a picky person.

Delicious food, fast service, clean space
Delicious flavors with beautifully prepared food!
The food was outstanding especially the marinated beef hearts. The portions are huge for the entrees. I would definitely recommend.
Ceviche was good. But the old lady has a nasty attitude.
Food can be anything but peruvian 🤢😮💨

Cholo’s has changed ownership several times over the years. I sit down now and I can look at the decor of Art and get a small taste of Peruvian culture. The restaurant is modernized.
My wife loves ceviche, in this place in Virginia Beach is her favorite place to go for ceviche.
Years ago, they still have fountain drinks, now they advertise Pepsi products and I was stuck with a Diet Coke for three dollars. That’s pretty bad for a can of soda, I can understand if it was for Inca Kola.
The service wasn’t terrible either .. ended up having Passion fruit pie. It was slightly sweet, without being overbearing. When I have desserts, I don’t feel like it needs to be run over with a sugar truck, so the dessert was just right.
A hiden Gem in the VA Beach area!!
The waitress doesn’t know how to mind her own business when I’m trying to educate my kid. And she’s rude
*** Best Lomo in the area! ***
👍🏽Great seasoning, steak had the charred edges that Peruvians enjoy. Remember to always ask for the traditional Peruvian sauce (Aji)- goes great with the fries.
👎🏽 Small portion of rice 🍚. Would have enjoyed more rice to soak up the lomo juice towards the end.
Above all, it was a great experience. I’d been eating here since 2010.
The ceviche is really good, I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and this is pretty close to grandma making it at home
