Love this place , I’m from Peru and I know how a real Peruvian dish have to taste, the chef got it rigth he is really good and the food taste like I am in Peru , I hightly recommend this restaurant . The service is good and I love the menu too.

Cholo’s has changed ownership several times over the years. I sit down now and I can look at the decor of Art and get a small taste of Peruvian culture. The restaurant is modernized.

My wife loves ceviche, in this place in Virginia Beach is her favorite place to go for ceviche.
Years ago, they still have fountain drinks, now they advertise Pepsi products and I was stuck with a Diet Coke for three dollars. That’s pretty bad for a can of soda, I can...

*** Best Lomo in the area! ***
👍🏽Great seasoning, steak had the charred edges that Peruvians enjoy. Remember to always ask for the traditional Peruvian sauce (Aji)- goes great with the fries.
👎🏽 Small portion of rice 🍚. Would have enjoyed more rice to soak up the lomo juice towards the end.
Above all, it was a great experience. I’d been eating here since 2010.
