Ashley, our server, was a doll! She was personable and accommodating. She even stepped behind the bar to remake a favorite cocktail that 'didn't taste how we remembered it' and she nailed it!

We tried Civil Libations since it was tied to Resy and had a great experience. We went on Sunday which was 50% off wine night, so off to a great start. I had the crab cakes which were delicious. The wait staff was great and went out of their way to come up with a gluten free option for bread. Will go again when back in VA Beach!

Came in on Halloween and ordered the filet meal. ServIce was fast and friendly from the hostess to the server. Food came fast and the steak was nothing short of amazing for flavor and cooked exactly how I ordered.
I will definitely be back!

We've really enjoyed this restaurant. With a young child during off-hours, it's been great. Servers are attentive, and the menu has lots of great options.

Unfortunately, we had a bit of a hiccup during a takeout order with all our family in town from Richmond.

First: My father-in-law and I both ordered ribeye steaks, which are listed on Google as $34. But we were charged $44 each. I called to inquire, and the manager confirmed the true price is $44, and apologized for the inconvenience.

Now, they obviously don't owe us anything. That's the price. But given the discrepancy on the Google listing, I would have expected at least an offer of a gift card, a dessert next time we come in, something.

For what it's worth, the steaks were not worth $44. They were barely worth $34. Both were undercooked, chewy, and not a particularly good cut of meat.

Second: This is the $7 Cesar salad. Pitiful looking and no dressing.

We will continue eating here as we really do enjoy many if the menu items, but this was a missed customer service opportunity in my opinion.
