Classic Diner

Ordered two patty melts with fries….did not include a pickle as posted on the menu… paid two dollars extra for fries. With tip, we ended up paying $45 for two patty melts ($41.00 without tip). The Classis Diner is becoming too expensive to eat at for the type of food they serve. As a result, we rarely patronize this establishment.

Fantastic omelets! Best item is not on the menu, bowl of grits with corned beef hash in it with 2 eggs over easy with cheese on top! Pancake sandwich is also excellent!

They have the best Diner cook in Hampton Roads. The food is always good.
Service depends on who you get. The skinny one who talks and companions all the time can ruin a meal.
The other servers are nice.

We had lived in Va Beach 18 years before deciding to move to the Northern Neck. We never came here while living there, yet we were in town today for an appointment and while I was waiting for my wife I decided to see what was near. And this place was just about across Providence in the shopping center. We had the Corned Beef Rueben and Philly Cheese Steak, both with chips. We each ate a half of each one. Wow, What delicious tastes. I am sorry we didn't come here in the past when local. Well Done. Highly recommended. And we will visit again. Thanks for the fully bellys for the ride home.

Food is phenomenal and very fairly priced. I am particularly in love with the biscuits and gravy here as I have loved in this area for 4 years how, and have yet to find solid southern style biscuits and gravy - thank you!!

Classic Diner in Virginia Beach is a solid spot for comfort food. The menu has all the diner classics, the portions are generous, and the food itself is really good—fresh, satisfying, and exactly what you’d expect from a traditional diner.

That said, the service can be hit or miss. While everyone has always been friendly, the pace and attentiveness could definitely be better at times. Overall, it’s still a place we enjoy coming back to for a good meal, and with a little improvement on the service side, it would be a standout.

This place is amazing. A hidden gem of a spot. I nearly cried when I tased the scrambled eggs because they tasted just like my grandma's who passed away a few years ago. Will be bringing my whole family here.

great diner with good food. Please update your photos of your menu so that they reflect your actual current prices. It is deceiving to see 1 price and then it is another all together once you arrive.

I had the country fried steak breakfast with grits. It was all very delicious. The two biscuits were flat and doughy almost soggy. Basic diner food with a cozy environment. Good prices. Would definitely come back.
