My husband and I stopped by for an impromptu dinner date. We were greeted with awkward stares immediately upon entry. We then noticed we were the only ones of color there. We were seated on the patio since we didn't have a reservation. It was a beautiful day. The waitress was nice. The food and drinks was delicious. Lovely coastal atmosphere. Spacious, comfortable seating. Service was exemplary - our table of four was taken care of very well. Drinks from the bar were creative and delicious, with specials offered for whichever meal was chosen. The food was delicious, freshly prepared hors d'oeuvres, delicious seasonal seafood, innovative side dishes, and a selection of favorites expected at a fine restaurant. My salmon dish was cooked medium as requested but it was drenched in butter and so for that reason the taste of the salmon was not realized. Our waitress was responsive and explained the specials. She brought us as much sourdough bread as we wanted. Sourdough bread was warm spreading butter was easy. Carrot cake desert was the best dish. My husband's fried trout was too dry.
