Food is consistently good. Menu has new items which we always enjoy. Service is exceptional.

The food and bar drinks are consistently delicious. Betsy is an excellent server .....friendly, attentive, humorous. Our only complaint is that you can't hear each other talking in the bar area. Some type of sound absorber needs to be installed in the ceiling because the noise level and inability to hear one another conversing ruins the meal.

The staff members were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the meals were fairly disappointing given the price points and customer reviews. Two exceptions were the gulf shrimp appetizer and classic burger which were both fantastic. I also found the 3% credit card fee to be unnecessary. Would prefer the transaction cost be factored in base pricing rather than encourage cash payment at that scale (~$50 per person for table of five including tip)

This restaurant has a great reputation locally, that has taken years for to earn and they deserve it. If you're locally, you know this already but if you're visiting, you should definitely put this on your trip itinerary. Burgers are five star but all the meals we've had there have been great.

I had the blackened tuna special which was excellent. I asked for it done medium and was still moist. My husband had the steak frites and choose the sirloin. He had had this dish almost every time we have gone there Last night was a big miss and he said the steak was very tough. As I said earlier he has ordered this many times and never had the steak come out tough. We split the fried green tomato appetizer and found some of the tomatoes were tough. The restaurant was noisy but that was to be expected with the band playing. We actually came there for the band and they were excellent as always. The food was a little off last night but will definitely come back since this is the first miss we have had here after multiple visits. One last thing. I have Toast Local and the waitress said there was no money in my account when my APP shows I have $43.70 in rewards. Not sure if she was entering the information the correct way. Will try next time to use.

This restaurant always serves great food an a very reasonable price The atmosphere is like your neighborhood Cheers. Never a surprise because it is consistent in quality and service.

Started the evening off with meeting our pleasant server Catherine. Followed by a glass of wine while we couldn't decide between so many choices that all sounded amazing. Catherine gave us just the right amount of time to decide and once again we were not disappointed. Consistently turning out incredibly fine food is an art Cobalt has definitely mastered. We both had the halibut which was served on a bed of risotto with broccolini. All was delicious.

I chose Cobalt Grille for husband's birthday dinner as I wanted something intimate but not "stuffy". The food is always superb and they have a varied menu. They did not disappoint!!!!!
Our party of 4 enjoyed burger night. Service was prompt and friendly. Our orders were all accurate - including requests for specific condiments. All of the burgers and fries were perfectly cooked and delicious. Check ins from our server were just the right amount. Atmosphere is comfortable. Overall, a great choice for dining out on a Tuesday evening.

My favorite Date night restaurant! The apps are amazing, the tomato soup is so good and I don't even like tomatoes! Love this place and the staff!

Im in town from NY For a wedding Took a shot at the Colbalt Grill. Let me tell you it was one of the best decisions in the five days I’ve been in Virginia Beach. The food on the scale of one to 10 was probably a 12 and being from New York and enjoying five star dining. This place was exceptional started with a Barata salad and finished with scallops, seafood, and risotto. Let me tell you this place was unbelievable.
