Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Last Sunday, 6/22/2025 my husband and I went to the VaBeach location. Hubby ordered the pot pie ( the Sunday special), ten minutes later he was told that it would be a long wait for more to be made. He ordered a salad. I ordered the meatloaf, when it arrived it was terribly overcooked and dried out and so were the mashed potatoes. I sent it back and the replacement meal was no better. It looked like dog food. By the time I ordered and received a different meal, my husband was finished with his food. It was the worst experience that I have had at this restaurant. If only I could post a picture.

I love cracker barrels food. And the gift shop! I really enjoy the gift shop, after eating the wonderful food.

I've been to many cracker barrels and always had good experience...but this was by far the worst ever..waited 55 min just waiting to give order..they took our order waited another 30 min and tables came in after us..they took order and they were served ..we still were waiting..asked politely if maybe our order got lost and manager was very very rude...will never go to that cracker barrel again when in area traveling for buisness ...

The manager and server were great! The food was up to the standard I’ve learned to expect from Cracker Barrel!

Service was ok. Ordered the Fish fry for the first time and it was ok. Main dish was served prior to the side. Had to wait over 5 minutes for the side to come out. Meal was practically over by the time it arrived.

Restaurant a little dusty on shelves needs quick wipedown.. FOOD WAS LUKE WARM 😕😕 .SWEET TEA NOT SWEET ? ORDERED CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS BUT VERY LITTLE CHICKEN and dry needed more broth 😕😕service spotty but adequate..🇺🇲

I am so unhappy, I placed a pickup order and waited 20 plus minutes curbside I finally had to go inside to get my food and it was sitting behind the counter. The food was not warm anymore. So disappointed.
Update- I got a response with an offer for gift card and never received. I emailed customet service and no response. This was in December still nothing

Usually this place is good and I rarely have major issues with deliveries but tonight made me not want to order from here again. I actually bit into my mashed potatoes and felt something weird. I literally pulled this plastic OUT OF MY MOUTH. Disgusting. Who knows where this came from! Management needs to have a serious conversation with their employees. Thank god a child wasn’t eating this cause they would’ve choked. Food arrived on time but was cold when it got here so I have no idea what is going on with this location. Especially when I spent 24$ on this
