I have eaten at the Leaping Lizard several times for a few years. However, on New Year's Eve it was a disappointment to my husband and I. His steak was tasteless, his mixed veggies were just odd , his potatoes were not done, and most of his food was cold. My tuna tacos were good but they would have been better if there was a side of some kind of sauce to drizzle over the tacos. Side fruit would have been nice instead of cabbage which was already on the tacos.

The atmosphere is cozy, but loud (voices carry), so not the best for quiet conversation among old friends. The food and the service are both excellent, so it's worth the effort !

We have been to this restaurant three times over the last 5 years, and unfortunately are always a little disappointed. The atmosphere is so cute and the staff are so courteous, but the food does not match the others . Maybe we order the wrong things. My crab quiche was ok not great, but my wife's breakfast panini was dry and devoid of flavor. We will probably forget this experience and come back in a year or two. Hopefully we will order the right things next time.

Leaping Lizars is always top of our list when entertaining guests. Their menu is unique and tasty. We made a reservation because it tends to get crowded. We had to change our reservation when we got there from 6 to 7. No problem at all for them!! Highly recommend.
