Staff was amazingly polite and patient, very impressive!
Got a Oreo blizzard, had basically ZERO Oreo, asked for more and they made me pay and then gave me about half of a Oreo. USE YOUR BRAINS!!
This is a walk up location. The cashier did not ring up order correctly even after me repeating order at the end. One of the first cones made sat from the time it was ordered until payment was received. This led to it starting to melt. It took awhile to get our complete order. There were others that ordered before us and didn’t receive their order until after us. I’m not sure why because they had like 15 people working. Not one blizzard was handed flipped. One was half melted when we received it. Another blizzard was ordered with X2 the amount of toppings and had less the regular. This was my last straw. I asked to speak to the manager in charge. I spoke with a younger employee, even though there were at least three others wearing managers shirts. I let them know my disappointment from the beginning and how poorly the shift was being ran by pointing out the order the items were coming out. Of course not much care but they did remake the blizzard quickly, the reason for the 2 star. There were multiple other unsatisfied customers while we were there. If I lived in the area and this was always the service I wouldn’t bother to eat here. There are other choices.
Watched the guy shove his hands down his pants to tuck in his shirt, then pour out my ice cream without gloves or washing his hands. 🫤
Great polite employees and excellent soft serve ice cream! 🍦
And my toy poodles loves his ice cream treat!
I miss butterscotch dip cones
Dairy Queen is awesome!!!
Cherry dipped cone for the win!!!! Super yummy
Great Blizzard
The place is small, but I enjoyed my time there. Relaxing, not busy when I arrived, the staff was nice, and the food was great. Wouldn't mind spending a few minutes in another weekend afternoon there to enjoy what they offer.

Compared to other Dairy Queens, their blizzards do not taste right. I asked for a refund and got flat out told no. Got a different blizzard (ultimate cookie) and got a oreo one instead. Waste of money...

I am referring to the DQ on General Booth Blvd in Virginia Beach. I stood outside the window and saw that it was barred shut and no one was inside. I walked over and looked in the other window and still saw no one. After a few more minutes of trying to look inside and read the posted hours to see if they were closed, or to see if there was a note with an unexpected reason why they needed to close, I finally went back to the car. There were no other people outside, nor was there anyone at the drive-through. I assumed they were closed, but the lights inside appeared to be on. Once I got back to my car, I called the phone number. A very static sounding voice answered. It was a really poor connection that was difficult to make out. I asked if the DQ was open, and the kid said yes. I told him that I had just spent several minutes outside looking in, and no one was there. He said they were open but that there were "only two of us." Again, no other customers were around, there was no line, no one at the drive-through, no one anywhere. It was deserted. What was it that the "only two of us" were doing? I don’t know, but I left and will not go there again. Not only will they lose my business, but the rest of my family as well. Not that it will make much of a difference to DQ, but it all adds up, and word does get around as to which businesses are better than others.
It’s like they took the most stupid people they could find and let them work at this location out of pity for their souls.
