Dave & Buster's Virginia Beach

The server was acting like she didn't want to serve us. She just tossed the menus in front of us and most of them didn't have the slip that had the meal deal thing in them. She took forever to take our order and never checked in on us. She also just put in random amounts of tips on all of our totals after we had to go find her after waiting a while to get her so we could pay for our food. The crazy part is i am the Culture Coordinator for my job and i just too a small part of my Chick-fil-a i work at to test it out and I'm not sure if i would like to do this again. Like we paid her a tip for her bad service with her not wanting to speek at all and not checking in. Like she didn't even say her name and she just pointed when she was tryin to take our order and just put the card reader infont of us with our total and i had to personally find how to go back so that i could get my points but i couldn't figure out how to go to my receipt to make sure that it was my stuff i was payin for. I never had this happen to me here but I'm not sure if i could do this again with a bigger group of the store or rent a room for thr whole store.

Don't bother with a reservation, they add you the the bottom of the list when you show up for your reservation.

We got there for a 4pm reservation and they told us it would be a 30-35 minute wait minimum for a table. The hosts were rude and whispering behind menus as we were trying to figure out why we were going to have to wait that long with a reservation. They finally sat us after 30 minutes of standing there and waiting. They sat our party of 10 at 2 four top tables with not even enough chairs. Floors were not swept and table were not wiped down. Took 15 more minutes to place a drinks order. When we got our food the chicken tenders were so dry we couldn't eat them and the steak was like cardboard. None of the food that came out was fresh. We still got charged they entire “large party” surcharge and they didn't comp a single thing or offer to replace it. We will never return to this location. There was nothing positive about this location since a lot of the games were also broken.

This place fails everytime I give it another chance... they have the most clueless staff, and I'm a pretty understanding guy. Rude, clueless, young staff on their phones and clearly don't care to be there. From the wait staff to the arcade area, everyone in that place is all shoulders anytime you ask for something.
The bathrooms are disgusting as well, not even anything to dry your hands. Id honestly new surprised if this place passed a health inspection

Food was good. Fast service. Nice waitress. Games were fun, except bowling wouldn't give us our balls. Basket ball gives no prize tickets.

We visit our grand kids a few times a year. This year we felt that they were old enough to bring them to your establishment.
We purchased the playing card for our 3 grand sons and were told we would get a discount on there lunches.
Our waitress Nay was pleasent and very helpful. However, when we ordered our grand children's meals we were told we purchased the wrong package for this discount. So we decided to let it go and order lunch any way. We waited a a bit of time before our food was delivered. And, when it was delivered only half of our lunches were delivered at the same time. It was brought to the table in 3 diffrent deliveries with at least 15 minutes in between. The place was not what I would consider busy. It was a very disappointing first time visit.

We had reservations for a party of 6 at 8 PM. We arrived qt 7:55 PM. My son was excited to come because it's his birthday. We waited at the hostess table while the hostesses talked in front of us about how they didn't know who could take the table. Then they went back and forth about who was going to ask the waitress if she could take a table because she already had a table of 33. The other hostess came back saying she said no and they told each other they didn't know what to do. There was a big table but everything else in the area looked pretty empty. I asked what about all the open booths would they fit us. One girl said it could but she has to ask. Then said the waitress said she can't take us. They sat us with our small kids at the high bar tables which made me nervous I had to keep watching them. After almost 10 minutes is when she sat us and walked away. Nobody greeted us at all as we looked around. Let me just say this was an awful experience especially on my son's birthday. We are at a high top table with no acknowledgement next to the bar with loud drunk people. This was extreme awful. After 15 minutes of sitting by the bar without being greeted my husband went to ask for a manager. The manager advised the hostess to sit us in the dining area at a booth at 8:20. Even after the manager had us seated we sat looking around for another 10-15 minutes. My husband started looking and saw the manager. Within 5 more minutes we were helped. The whole situation was so uncomfortable and we felt out of place. What's even more sad is the manager didn't come back to check on us and show any sympathy. Normally with situations like this Managers check in. I also felt rushed because the waitress kept asking if we needed anything else and if we needed boxes not long after we got our food. This situation was awful. I would've left but it was my son's birthday and he was looking forward to D&B

We went here for my daughter's 10th birthday party and nobody who rsvp'd showed up. Our waitress, Nay, was amazing. She was so sympathetic to our situation and went above and beyond to make the best of a not so great situation. Due to her efforts, my daughter and I left not feeling so bad.
The food was great and delivered quickly but the crown jewel of the place is the waitress, Nay.

Junk. I know it's Dave and busters to I wasn't expecting much. But this was just awful. Once we were seated we waited a long time for someone to wait on us for drinks. He eventually came back to take our order. 3 out of 4 people wanted chicken strips. When we tried to order that he told us they had none. If you are completely out of an item let people know before they read the menu! Just open with that. He then proceeded to impatiently look at us while all 3 people tried to pick new items. Food came out 30 minutes later. rubbery and cold. Like it had been microwaved then just sat there by some other waiter. None of our drinks were ever refilled. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
